Sanitary measures remain in place to avoid any new outbreaks, although they are less restrictive, and so that’s why, in the coming months weddings will begin to take place again.

Outdoor weddings

If they already provoked emotion before, now they will do it even more. When celebrating a wedding in large gardens or a patio, the minimum safety distance is guaranteed, as it is such a large space, tables and chairs can be perfectly placed with a metre and a half of distance between them.

Intimate weddings

One of the main bets of the bride and grooms in recent times has been to celebrate an intimate wedding, and now, after this pandemic, it will be even more so. This is because fewer people are invited.

If you want to leave those weddings of more than 300 guests behind, you now have a good excuse!

Wedding ceremonies in parts

There is nothing normal about this, but it is one of the biggest trends that the pandemic is leaving us: celebrating a wedding in parts.

Nowadays weddings have a ceremony, a welcome cocktail, a reception banquet and a party. But with this situation it is possible to be able to celebrate these moments on different occasions, such as celebrating the ceremony in an intimate way, and later holding the banquet or the party with the rest of the guests. Why not?

Changes to the welcome cocktail and the dance

Among the great unknowns that the bride and groom have is what will happen to the welcome cocktail or to the dance.

The cocktail will still be held, but with a more distributed layout in the venue, thus leaving greater space between the guests. There’s nothing wrong with this!

The small inconvenience is in the party, since in many places it is not yet possible to open the dance floor, but you can always change your plans and organise a party in a great chill out area, with drinks and background music to spend a pleasant time with your guests.

Will I have to have wedding photos wearing a mask?

No, don’t worry, since the couple will be at a distance from the photographer this will not be affected at all by the rules and you will have a beautiful souvenir from your big day!

All you have to do is look for places further away from the guests so that you can be without a mask without any risk (in addition, your photographer will wear a mask).

The problem arises in group photos, since having to maintain a safe distance and wear a mask makes it somewhat complicated, but you can always be original and invent new ways of taking group photos! How about making a collage?

The reception without the crowds

That is why buffets or food stalls will be replaced by dishes served in a traditional way, that is: that the waiters will bring the dishes to the tables.

This is a good option to prevent guests from crowding together in one place and thus guarantee safe social distancing, in addition, it is also very comfortable!

What happens to my wedding dress?

Nothing serious! Because although changing plans may have caused your wedding to be postponed, don’t fear the season change because you will look just as radiant with your original dress.

You will only have to add the odd accessory to transform it into a more winter dress, such as adding a cape or a coat.

Do you know how many brides are also requesting special face masks from their dress supplier?

Embroidery, sequins…everything you could ever think of in case the bride has to wear it as some point. Always with style!

Security measures, present and customisable

And the fact is that although we have entered the new normal, it does not mean that we can stop using hand sanitiser or face masks.

These two new elements are commonplace among the population and they have come to stay for a while, since we have to avoid transmission of the virus, so…why not personalise these objects and distribute them on the wedding day?

Design them with a logo of the wedding, the name of the bride and groom, wedding illustrations, etc. it is a nice detail and very original.
