If you want to be a Rosa Clará bride surrounded by an exuberant vegetation, Tarragona is your place. Here, you will find the Villa Retiro, a hotel and restaurant in Les Terres de l’Ebre. This hotel offers both the couple and their guests a multitude of services to enable them to enjoy the charm of a colonial hotel perfectly restored in modern installations.
The Villa Retiro is made up of two parts, the oldest one, with a modernist building and the building. Both parts are fully equipped to enable you to enjoy the event as well as the venue’s gastronomy and the accommodation. The restaurant, the Torreón de L’Indía, thrives from a great importance and fame, as it owns a Michelin star. It is directed by the chef Francesc López, who also offers a training in haute-cuisine.
Incredible dishes to provide your wedding day with a taste of oysters of the Delta, eels with garlic and chili pepper, pasta stuffed with blue crab, pigeon with poultry sauce or desserts such as chocolate carobs which will make everyone want to lick their fingers.
The decoration, in full harmony with the environment, had been put into the hands of Toni Lara, from the Catalan company Boix Verd, whose bride had a sunflower bouquet with long green stems accompanied of a flower which imitated an elegant plumage.
The groom, as far as he was concerned, had a brooch with the same plumage and the same tones as the bride’s bouquet, just like the rest of the decoration of the exterior area, where tails of feathers predominated as an usual type of plant.
The rest of the decoration consisted in objects placed on barrels, such as golden chandeliers, candles and vases. More vases and large cushions imitating wicker had been placed on the floor. The chairs of the ceremony, made of wood, perfectly blended with the rest.
The wooden tables used for the reception, the tree trunk plates and the table centers also stood out with a large yellow cloth that matched the lemon fruit that adorned the table. There were also roses and white flowers, all decorated with candles and tails of feathers, the star element of the decoration, as well.
As for the clothes, the bride stood out with her amazing dress pattern signed Rosa Clará, with a V neckline that let her back show off. This design, with a strap-shaped upper-part with floral embroideries and close to the body left the inferior part with a smooth pattern and an elegant tail.
A low bun accompanied the bride’s style, with wavy hair strands and a little flower detail as a hairpin. With a very natural make-up signed Anastasia, the bride glowed from the light and the shining glitter on her skin.
As for the groom, he was wearing a suit with a navy jacket matching the tones of the handkerchief in his pocket, his tie and vest which featured a print of navy blue, red and white tones.
The organizer in charge of this sensational wedding was Weddings and Events by Natalia Ortiz, helped by Lisova, the photographer responsible for realizing a photo report for the couple to remember his day all their life.
