From the basics to the most advanced tricks, you will know everything you need to start creating your own rugs in no time. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to see a live demonstration with all the details!
You’ll learn about the two types of guns (cut and loop), explore different types of yarns and weaves, and discover the importance of selecting the right materials for your rug. Then, you’ll let your imagination run wild as you think about the idea you want to capture in your rug: stripes? squares? abstract shapes? You decide! We’ll show you how to place the fabric on the frame, draw your design on the fabric, thread the gun, change colors and more – we’ll even practice with various types of shapes so you can experiment to your heart’s content!

What is included in the tufting workshop?
All materials and equipment necessary to complete the project will be provided, including the tufting gun, frames, fabric, threads, scissors and any other tools required.
Live demonstrations will be held to show how to use the tufting gun and other tools, allowing participants to observe and learn up close.
The workshop will be held in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where participants can enjoy the company of other textile art enthusiasts and share ideas and inspiration.

The exciting tufting workshop lasts approximately 2 hours and a half, the time needed to immerse yourself in the wonderful world of wool and leave with your own rugs to decorate your home!
And as for the location, where could this exciting gathering be if not in the vibrant city of Madrid? It’s the perfect place for an afternoon of crafting in the capital.
You’ll find us in our cozy offices in Las Rozas de Madrid, specifically at Calle de Teruel number 3. It’s an easily accessible location, 5 minutes from the Renfe train station and 2 minutes from the 622 and 621 bus stops.
