During your visit you’ll also get to observe the slicing methods of a professional Iberian ham cutter, learn about the different curing styles and get tips on shopping for some of your own. An expert food guide, plus all ham, tapas, cheeses and wines, are included.

Wine tasting

Professional sommelier will acquaint you with the world of Spanish wines, their categories and aromas. You will learn why moscatel is sweet, and xarel-lo has sour notes, why jerez is stronger than wine and why Cava is the best Spanish sparkling wine.

Сheese and jamon tasting

Maestro jamonero, a professional Spanish ham cutter, will familiarize you with the world of jamón ibérico, will show you how to cut it, and will explain why the best jamón is made from black pigs that eat acorns.

Maestro quesero will speak about cheese diversity. Spanish cheeses have as many varieties as their French peers. Artisan-made blue cabrales, creamy tetilla, aged manchego and fresh soft burgos cheese are just some of many samples that you can taste during the activity.
