How do you balance the desire for adventure with the need for relaxation on honeymoon trips at your travel agency specializing in unique experiences?
Normally it is always the client who sets that preference… if the client leaves it to me… first adventure and then relaxation!
Have you ever had to improvise a plan B for an unexpected event on a trip? How did you resolve it?
So far I haven’t had any unexpected events on organised trips, maybe some excursions that were booked but they didn’t want to go or the time was changed… but everything organised always gives you a lot of peace of mind.
Is there any destination that you wouldn’t recommend for a honeymoon? Why?
I don’t think you should choose a destination, it’s all very personal, and variety is the key.
Do you have any funny or touching story from a trip that you have organised that has left a special mark on you?
They all have a special essence, they are always prepared with love, and the bride and groom always put all their enthusiasm into that preparation. Perhaps the most special one was a bride and groom who based their entire trip on the hotel at the end, they wanted a hotel where they could really feel like kings, rest and all luxury, and that was their trip at all times.
What is the smallest but significant detail that you consider essential in any personalized itinerary?
Organize your downtime well, so that you have time to at least have a coffee. Many times, these spontaneous moments become the most memorable of the trip.
When travelers ask you for a “romantic getaway,” how do you decide which destination is the most suitable for each couple?
Depending on the season, if it’s cold, something cozy and warm; if it’s summer, something that offers something exclusive, like a hotel with a private pool, or a little house in the mountains with spectacular views, but near a river…

What is the most exotic or far away destination that a client has wanted to go to, and how did you make that dream come true?
I have a very wide range of suppliers, who would take clients to the other side of the world. You just have to tell me the destination, and I will take you there.
If you could organize a honeymoon in a movie, what movie would it be and what would the itinerary be?
Any movie that is filmed in Paris!!!
On the first day, upon arrival from the flight, we will be picked up at the airport and accommodated in a boutique hotel with a view of the Eiffel Tower, a romantic dinner at the Madame Brasserie restaurant (a restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower), an evening cruise on a boat on the Seine and then off to sleep.
The next day, a good Parisian breakfast, with freshly baked croissants. Visit to the Louvre Museum, picnic in the Luxembourg Gardens and, in the afternoon, a walk to see Notre Dame and eat some crepes with chocolate. Dinner near the hotel.
The next day, after a hearty breakfast, a visit to the Gardens of Versailles, this will take up more time, as they are splendid gardens.
On the last day, pick up at the hotel, and we return to the airport and to the next destination, or back home. But totally refreshed!
Do you have a destination that you consider “the soul mate” of a perfect honeymoon?
I see the charm in all of them!!! But I think that a trip to Greece with some good views… makes anyone fall in love! As a travel agency specializing in unique experiences, I always like to combine some adventure or culture, with some relaxation at the end.
If travelers could make a crazy request for their trip, what would be the most fun or unusual option that you would give them?
I love to offer in some destinations that they have a photo report done! Hire a professional and have them immortalize their trip!
To what extent does local culture influence the itineraries that you design? Any destination with a unique tradition that you like to incorporate into your trips?
I think one of the countries I have seen with an extensive culture is Cuba and Mexico. I have prepared some routes with the clients so that they will never forget it!

Strasbourg… It combines history (stories I have from my travelers) and modernity (since I adapt to the changes and updates that come and go). It is also a familiar and welcoming place, it is a fantastic destination to visit at Christmas and create unforgettable stories and moments.
