Begoña and Cayetano put the finishing touch to their love by celebrating their wedding in Marbella on 24thSeptember, the result of which ended up being a wedding worthy of a magazine cover.

By getting married in Málaga in mid-September, they had the best time to enjoy the Andalusian climate, its contrasts of colour and lights.

Marbella is one of the best places on the Costa del Sol, also known as la Milla de Oro (the Golden Mile), to celebrate a full wedding: on the shores of the Mediterranean, with a renowned gastronomy, an unbeatable climate and always surrounded by luxury and exclusivity.

Getting married in Marbella is a safe bet to have a wedding as if it were from a movie or just taken from a story! And if you don’t believe it, try telling that to Begoña and Cayetano who can’t stop looking at the photos over and over again.

Two venues for the big day

For the preparations:

The bride and groom got dressed at the Hotel Marbella Club, a place full of style, privacy and tranquillity where they could put on their respective outfits amidst undeniable Andalusian elegance and comfort.

Feeling the breeze of the sea and the views of the mountains, Begoña and Cayetano chose this old country house called Santa Margarita, which has endured over time, combining tradition and innovation in a moving way, preserving its original charm.

For the ceremony:

The bride and groom’s favourite venue was the Finca de La Concepción, also located in Marbella that dates back to 1837. Located in a beautiful natural setting, this was one of the first iron foundries built in Spain.

After extensive restauration work, in which local artisans and artists participated, these ruins became what it is today: the most beautiful Cortijo (country house) on the Costa del Sol. Begoña and Cayetano could walk among its tropical vegetation, such as centuries-old palm trees, avocado plantations, custard apples, orange trees, and a sea of almond trees. In addition, the murmur of the water from the fountains was a pleasure to the ears.

By choosing this estate you will enjoy all of its spaces, the Altos Hornos, a place with history and views of the Sierra Blanca, the swimming pool area and the main gardens, with its hundred-year-old American walnut tree and its spectacular fountain, which will make your wedding just as unforgettable as this couple’s.

A most lively decoration

Alejandra, from Ainhoa & Co., a company of professionals based in Sevilla was in charge of the decorations, who filled the wedding with a most vintage and fun atmosphere, in a conventional way, but without losing the sophistication and elegance.

Before starting the ceremony…

…everyone was able to help themselves to refreshing lime and lemon flavoured water, placed in a very rustic corner: with wood, fruits such as pears, apples, grapes and vases with green leaves.

Flowers and more flowers!

The bride’s bouquet was elegant and simple as well as different, composed of white, pink and green tones.

On the way to the altar, wooden boxes were placed on the floor on both sides of the carpet, which were filled with white flowers everywhere.

Regarding the centrepieces, these consisted of a wooden box full of green leaves, some pinkish flowers and a white candle in the centre.

A reception that didn’t lack any detail

Arriving at the reception venue, in the gardens, you could rest in a beautiful chill out corner with large white cushions and low wooden tables with small vases of flowers.

Regarding the seating plan, everyone looked for their seat on the white posters placed on white wood, where they could also collect their jar of jam as a souvenir of the big day.

Esca was the team of haute cuisine professionals that carried out the catering, and thanks to them the guests were able to taste the typical fried fish.

We can’t forget to mention the sweetest corner, that of the caravan made into a creperie and the corner with the van made into a cocktail bar, where the guests tasted the best mojitos in the area.

It is worth highlighting the magical moment in which all of the garlands of lights placed as a tent were lit in the gardens, amazing all of the guests, creating a most romantic and warm climate.

The freshness of the outfits

Begoña’s look:

The bride wore a dress by Inés Martín Alcalde, a unique and different wedding dress and guest dress designer, with a romantic and feminine style.

Her tailor-made dress consisted of a plain patterned top with a V-shaped open back and a tulle fabric covering her shoulders.

The bottom part, separated from the upper part by a thin velvet belt, was more detailed as it contained a series of embroidery.

For footwear, she opted for sandals from the luxury brand Jimmy Choo. The sandals had metallic glitter straps with delicate straps that wrapped beautifully around the foot.

Regarding her hairstyle, Begoña wore her hair up in a braid with blue ties. Do you remember that you have to wear something blue, something new, something old and something borrowed?

Her hairstyle was prepared by María, from Bajobé Makeup Studio, and to which she added a side pin plated in silver metal composed of different leaves from the brand Lia Terni, an ethical jewellery designer of handmade headdresses for brides from all over the world.

Cayetano’s look:

The groom chose Absolute Bespoke to dress him on his big day, a brand of unique pieces for men who tailor-made a navy-blue jacket with a waistcoat of the same colour for Cayetano, which he wore over a white shirt and a maroon tie.

For footwear, there was nothing better than simple, plain and elegant black Oxford shoes from Lottusse, a world-leading brand in the world of footwear.

As an accessory, the groom chose an IWC watch, specifically a Portugieser Chronograph with a black leather strap.

Guaranteed fun at the after-party!

If the DJ is Quique AV, it can’t be the opposite!

The resident DJ of the Barceló Theatre in Madrid and of many festivals made all of the guests stand up to dance to the rhythm of the music and have a great time. A total revolution!
