We are ready for whatever may come with the preparations for your son’s communion!
If you have already chosen among the best venues to celebrate a communion in Madrid, Malaga or the Valencian Community, if you already have a lot of ideas to celebrate it in a very unique way, and if you already know how to choose the best clothing, it is time to choose the style of suit that the protagonist will wear.
The first communion is a very important day for your child and for the whole family, in which emotions are running high and fun and joy overflow, therefore, it is of the upmost importance that the child feels identified in every moment with the clothes he is wearing.
If the child feels comfortable, he will be able to enjoy every moment!
That’s why we are here, so that you see the different styles of communion suits that exist for boys and so that you find the one that suits you easier.
Sailor suit
There is no more traditional and classic outfit than the sailor suit. As a general rule, this style has been made in ivory, white or navy-blue shades, but, as times evolve and reinvent themselves, now sailor suits appear in other shades, such as lighter blues, browns or earth tones, greens, greys or even metallic shades.
The same is true of the type of fabric, which has evolved to appear in the form of fresher fabrics, such as linen or satin.
The most classic way to see the sailor suit has been with long trousers, although it should be noted that Bermuda shorts are becoming more popular, since they are light and comfortable for the child to wear.
Admiral suit
This is the second most classic communion suit for boys, and the one they like the most! Although it may seem somewhat overloaded to some parents, as it resembles a royal or military uniform, it is a commonly worn suit.
Also known as the captain’s suit, it is made up of a jacket, trousers, shirt and waistcoat, as well as accessories typical of the rank, among which are laces, braids, shields, metal buttons or even a cap. A most authentic suit!
Traditional admiral suits are usually in white or blue shades, although more and more innovations are being found.
Classic jacket suit
This is another one of the options that are giving the most to talk about, since many boys who have a communion opt for the conventional jacket suit, and it is very easy to combine!
As simple as getting a linen shirt, dress trousers such as chinos, a jacket or a blazer, and enjoying the big day! In addition, this option will work whether the communion is in spring or if it is cooler, since the suit can be adapted by layers as well as choosing some Bermuda shorts.
White, grey or brown are the main colours of the classic suits, although you can always combine them with each other and have the trousers and jacket in one colour, the shirt and brooch in another, and the waistcoat and braces in another.
The best thing about this suit? That it can be reused! Unlike the sailor or admiral suit, the classic suit can later be worn by the child for any celebration with other accessories. In addition, the colours are perfect to wear during spring and summer.
What do you think of these options to choose from for your little man’s communion day? Of course, we recommend that before purchasing anything, take into account his opinion since he is the one who will wear it and the one who has to feel comfy.
Show him all of the options available and let the suit fittings begin!
