They were able to move freely around the spacious rooms: living room with armchairs and a wood-burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, patio, swimming pool, garden, terrace, bathrooms

The place has all the comforts so that the bride and groom who want to say “I do” in the rural house can also spend an incomparable weekend!

Can you think of a better place to celebrate a wedding in complete confidence and in the most intimate way? So, for Anna and Sergi it was the best place!

La Ponsa has 6 bedrooms: 2 with a couple of single beds, the third one is triple, one more double, and one with 5 beds, while the last one has room for 6 people.

But, undoubtedly, what captivated all eyes was the large garden space and the water park that houses the building, as well as the forest where the ceremony took place. Do you want to know how it was decorated? Then read on!

A decoration that broke protocols

If there was one thing that characterised the decoration of this couple’s big day, it was that the decoration did not follow any theme or colour range, nor did it follow any rules, but the bride and groom only chose things that made them feel more comfortable and in keeping with their personalities.

The altar, between straw and cloth

In one of the most important places of the day, the altar was decorated with white round paper lamps that were like garlands, the seats were of the same colour, while the large straw blocks where the guests were seated were covered with white fabric.

It is also worth mentioning the charming details that were also found in the “I do” space, such as the flower pots in the aisle towards the ceremony, the ring-holder that consisted of a slice of the tree trunk, and other elements that added a musical touch to the ceremony, such as the cello or the guitar, making the ceremony a very lively one.

The flowers, romantic and classic

The flowers, created by Inma Ferrer, added a touch of colour to the big day, albeit in a classic and charming way, in shades of white and pink.

The bouquet was full of daisies, pink tulips, paniculatas… and all the stems were joined together with a white openwork ribbon.

The bride and groom were classic and refined in their outfits

Anna, a bride with a Nadia Montero touch

Yes, the bride wore a wedding dress by Nadia Montero, a designer from Barcelona, who dressed her in white with a simple V-neck dress, as well as the neckline at the back, which was also accompanied by a thin line of buttons.

For the ceremony, the dress was accompanied by a small transparent tulle cape that covered the shoulders and chest.

Speaking accessories, she opted for a floral belt and a headdress to match the pinkish tones of the rest of the floral decoration.

As for the hairstyle, the option chosen was a side up-do with a braid and waves.

Sergi, the most gallant groom

He wore a navy-blue suit jacket with a tie, waistcoat and lapels in a lighter shade of blue, and white shirt.

He also combined the look with a floral brooch as well as the floral details that adorned the bride.

The cocktail and banquet, elegant and modern

As soon as the ceremony was over and full of rice, Anna and Sergi, together with their guests, set off for the reception, where they were welcomed by giant white letters with the initials of the bride and groom, arranged in front of a pile of tree trunks, in the most country style!

The space was also flooded with hanging light bulbs as garlands that made the high and low tables, black and white, bathed in warmth and romanticism.

A fun-filled party

What’s a party without a photocall? These friendly bride and groom didn’t hesitate to have a DIY photocall for all the guests to have a great time.

This one contained their initials and the date of the wedding, with lots of colours and full of stars and rockets. Fun guaranteed!
