Art on your nails

More and more brides are getting bored of the simple and traditional, so they are adding a small design to their nails, with crystals, stickers, flowers, reliefs, etc. They combine the colours, shapes, and textures with the colours of the bouquet, the shoes, or even the decoration or make-up.

In beauty salons they know how to make real miniature works of art! Ask about these options and don’t settle for the classics.

Let’s play with glitter

Glitter is going to be one of the stars in bridal manicures for 2022, we love glitter! It adds light, shine, colour.

You can always combine this technique differently, you don’t need all your nails to be full of glitter, just have a different one or even make a glitter gradient for modern but at the same time subtle nails.

You’ll look brilliant!

Let’s add some colour

Red, burgundy tones and maroon, are some preferred colours for brides when they want to break away from the traditional colours, especially for autumn or winter weddings, where the atmosphere encourages these darker colours.

Silver, gold, black, or grey tones with a metallic finish will be your safe bet. If you don’t want them to look too much, you can also put the metallic effect on just some of the nails and not on all of them.

Coloured French manicure

We’ve already seen the colourful French manicure in the summer of 2021, and it’s here to stay because brides are sticking with the trend for their wedding day.

It doesn’t have to be multi-coloured tones, but just enough to break away from white and opt for the colour scheme in pastel shades such as pinks, blues, yellows, and even oranges.

Change the white and add a touch of fun and cheerful colour!

Decorative sticks

For brides who are looking for something laborious, but not as ornate as a work of art, a good choice is to opt for the well-known decorative stickers, this way you can create countless designs: lines, flowers, polka dots, squares…

You can even try small crystal inlays on some of your nails. But remember… less is more!

Sharp silhouettes

As far as silhouettes are concerned, this 2022 brides will be wearing square shapes or with rounded corners, that’s a trend! Although here are others that will never go out of fashion, such as almond-shaped or peaked silhouettes.

Tradition always wins out

Some manicures will continue to triumph no matter how much time goes by, such as the minimalist and powdery colours, so if you’re not into taking risks with art, colours, or stickers, you can always use pinks, creams, beiges, or whites for your hands on your wedding day. And don’t forget to use a touch of glitter to finish!

Milky nails

This manicure, also known as white or milk manicure, is a type of manicure that is becoming very popular in the bridal field. It’s classic and elegant as well as basic, as it’s just white, but not just any white! It is a creamier and more abundant tone that creates that “milk” effect that everyone is crazy about.

Vamp manicure

Since Chanel used black, burgundy, and blue nails on its models last season, these tones have made their way to the most daring brides.

What about a “vampy” bet? For example, to make nails so red that they look black. Let’s do it!

Nails with a wavy effect

As we’ve already mentioned, nail art is more popular than ever, so check out the wavy style! It’s all about drawing waves on the nails of the colour of your choice but based on the natural nail colour. It looks so modern and risky!
