History

The Hotel Servigroup Montíboli was the first establishment in the province of Alicante to obtain the highest hotel recognition, five stars.

Its history dates back to 1968 and in these 52 years it has been visited by numerous emblematic characters such as the Beatles, Robert De Niro, Alejandro Sanz, Lola Flores, Julio Iglesias, Maradona, athletes, politicians, members of the European and Asian royal families, etc. In fact, Paul McCartney even wrote a song and gave an impromptu private concert to our guests one summer afternoon. And what is clear is that magical moments are created in this emblematic place. 

The hotel, in addition to 5-star service and avant-garde gastronomy, is characterised by its incomparable location on a cliff south of Villajoyosa with direct access to two beautiful coves with crystal clear water. An ideal enclave to find rest in a truly exclusive environment.

Of course, the hotel is also an exemplary host for weddings. Here it is possible to get married on the beachfront, with the sea as a witness; here it is possible to get married in paradise. 

The main restaurant is the Restaurante Emperador, where you will find signature cuisine based on the local gastronomic produce. Jean Marc Sanz mixes creativity and tradition in a menu designed to surprise the diner’s palate. The exceptional quality of the best Mediterranean produce is joined by the sensibility, ingenuity and personality of our chef to offer a culinary experience full of nuances that leaves no one indifferent. In addition, we have Restaurante Minarete on the beach with a more informal, classic Mediterranean cuisine, which has an Alhambra terrace with a more relaxed atmosphere that remains open between hours and where you can find fresh recipes and snacks. 

Apart from restaurants and bars with different atmospheres for each moment of the day, the hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, one heated pool, a gym and spa for the enjoyment of our guests. 

For the maximum accommodation of those attending the event, the hotel has 85 rooms of various categories, from the presidential suite to standard rooms, all different and fully equipped.
