St John’s Eve (la noche de San Juan), the most magical night of the year, was when Ana Laura and Jorge’s wedding in Huelva took place. But why Huelva? It was chosen due to being the bride’s birthplace and to maintain the wedding traditions of the family, thus adding great sentimental value to the day.
In addition, as good sun lovers, this Andalusian province became the perfect place to say, “I do”, given that Huelva receives the last light in southern Spain.
This couple were certain that their wedding was not going to be a conventional wedding, but quite the opposite! Accompanied hand in hand by their son, they managed to celebrate a different wedding, always being faithful to their style and, therefore, feeling comfortable at all times.
Therefore, without further delay…join us to find out what this wedding was like in the Andalusian province of Huelva that ended with the bride and groom under a sky full of fireworks!
Long live love!
Los Ventanales, the impressive venue for the big day
This estate, also known as “El chalet del Chamaco” (Chamaco’s chalet) because it was owned by this bullfighter, was chosen by Ana Laura and Jorge to gather all of their guests. And what a success it was!
La Finca Los Ventanales is a unique venue to celebrate outdoor weddings, and if not, try telling this couple! They were glued to the seashore, with an ideal temperature admiring the unbeatable views of the Huelva coastline, since from “El Chamaco” you can see the famous Arrow of El Rompido, unique due to its great magnitude on the Andalusian coastline.
In addition, in the venue they could also enjoy fantastic decorations, surroundings full of pine trees and spacious, well-kept gardens, beautiful terraces, a large swimming pool, and be only 15km from the city!
So yes, celebrating their wedding here was a real hit!
Decorations that did not lack the luxury of details
And all thanks to Mirka Eventos, the main event decoration company in Seville that takes care of all of the details of any wedding, always creating a special atmosphere, travelling to any part of Spain that is necessary.

The entrance to the ceremony
Romantic and delicate, this was what the walk to the altar was like, whose aisle was full of gypsophila, all of which were placed on the floor in jute bags, as well as on the chairs in small bottles.
All of the venue…
…it was filled with rusticity, like the chill out corner, which was full of rustic elements, such as stacked suitcases, old radios, wicker armchairs…
As soon as they entered the venue, the guests could already see a lot of wooden boxes stacked and full of galvanised vases full of lilac flowers, white lanterns and green glass vases on the floor.
It’s important to mention the large orange letters with the initials of the bride and groom that illuminated the area, which were placed behind candles, candelabras, mirrors, lanterns and baskets, a most rustic chic corner!
The reception
One of the most awaited moments by the guests! So they all ran to the seating plan, which was arranged on white posters taped to an aged mint green staircase and accompanied by vases and flowers.
The wedding table was the most charming, as were its white gilded regal chairs that had the words “groom” and “bride” engraved on wood on the back.
On the guest tables, white and beige linen tablecloths were placed under green leaves and pink flowers as centrepieces, under carved dark brown placemats, rustic brown plates and silver cutlery.
A bouquet with meaning
Josechu, from la Florería (florist), was in charge of making a bouquet that spoke for itself, creating a most original and unusual set of flowers. This consisted of blue and white little flowers, such as gypsophila, roses and sprigs, among others.
The bride and groom “all dressed up”
Ana Laura, with a French design by Laure de Sagazan
Our bride didn’t hesitate for a second when she saw the designs by Laure de Sagazan, a French designer who captivated our bride from the beginning.
The chosen option was the Verlaine model, a wedding dress with the upper part full of embroidery and illusion lace, short sleeves, an open back with a V-neckline and a completely smooth bottom half.
For the shoes, Yves Saint Laurent was the firm choice. The bride stepped into powder pink heeled sandals with interlocking staps, with a bevelled platform, covered heel and an adjustable ankle strap engraved with Saint Laurent Paris.
As for hair and makeup, Patrizia Robel was in charge of curling all of her long blonde hair, which she left loose and adorned with a headdress in the shape of a tiara of white and pink flowers and green leaves from Mariquilla del Carmen.
Jorge, the groom, opted for a suit from the brand Silbon
The navy-blue suit consisted of a woollen blazer that featured flap pockets, custom navy-blue buttons, and a stylish pattern. On the other hand, the trousers were also navy blue and were also made of wool.
The rest of the style was completed by a white shirt, a navy-blue tie with small white polka dots, a small brooch of a bouquet like the bride’s, an off-white waistcoat and brown leather monk strap shoes.
