History

La Torre del Visco was a semi-ruined 15th century estate house on a hillside overlooking extensive farmlands and forests. Today the hotel, restaurant and organic home-farm provide endless scope for our enduring passions: Spain, food, wine, farming, gardening, art and, above all hospitality.

Nearby mountains, clear rivers, dramatic waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife offer the perfect setting for tailored walking, cycling, horse trekking, bird watching, wild swimming, unrivalled stargazing or a memorable wedding.

Religious ceremonies and blessings can be held in the small chapel on the hotel’s own estate dedicated to Saint Peter of Verona while, for civil ceremonies, the rose covered pergola offers the perfect summer setting or, for autumn and winter, you can exchange vows in one of the elegant sitting rooms by a log fire. Beautiful drawing rooms, patios, terraces and scented gardens offer the perfect backdrop for celebrations before and after.

Accommodation

Strategically placed between Barcelona and Madrid, the 17 roomed Relais Chateaux offers a completely peaceful flexible and discreet environment in which to work uninterrupted. The luminous, fully-equipped meeting room with capacity for 30, has an open fireplace for winter and views of the valley and distant mountains. Smaller meetings can be held in the library or sitting rooms. In summer, coffee breaks are served in the gardens.
