Andalusian weddings are so much fun! Especially this wedding in Seville where Rebeca and José said “I do”, we will show you today.
A wedding in Seville in spring is a wedding full of the aromas of the city, such as orange trees and orange blossom, and is that in addition to its smells, the capital of Andalusia also engages for its people, its gastronomy, its climate of more than 300 days of sunshine a year, its culture, its stories and legends, but above all, for the incredible spaces and services offered for weddings.
And as Rebeca and José did not hesitate to proclaim their love to the four winds in this city that makes you fall in love and where the best sunsets happen, we, at Perfect Venue, give you the opportunity to check what a wedding in Seville is like with this article.
We’re sure that you and your partner will also want to live a wedding experience like this! And if you don’t believe it, read on… and you’ll see!
The bride and groom moved between unique spaces
Before heading to the venue, the groom and his friends decided to start the day with a small brunch to warm up and spend his last hours as a bachelor with his close friends.
They had a great time at Paradas 7, a place that serves some of the most spectacular breakfasts in Seville. So the table was filled with cakes, coffees, milkshakes, toasts, juices, sandwiches… and they even toasted with cava before starting the preparations!
For the celebration, the Cortijo Mi Ranchito was the place that left everyone speechless
Rebeca and José celebrated their wedding in a very rural setting, as was this exclusive estate dating from the early twentieth century and that today is a multifunctional space with a perfect location as it is the town of Santiponce, just 3 km from Seville.
The bride and groom were able to enjoy this house in the countryside, surrounded by gardens, cobbled courtyards and comfortable interior areas with various decorative options.
Civil ceremonies can be held in any of the romantic corners of the Cortijo, but on this occasion, our bride and groom opted for a religious ceremony, as there are many couples in Seville who are very faithful to Christianity.
After the ceremony, the banquet arrived, and they had at their disposal for the wedding the Albero courtyard, the horse courtyard, the glass tent and the halls connected to the manicured gardens.
A reception with elegant and distinguished décor
And no wonder, because in a place that offers a gastronomic offer with a careful selection of top quality products and an expert team of professionals in the organisation of weddings, the decoration had to match.
To serve their tasty, simple cuisine, with dishes that combine tradition and evolution, they opted for wooden tables with white wooden chairs.
On the bride and groom’s table, a pinkish cloth was placed across the table, on which were placed the floral centrepieces full of green leaves, pink, lilac and white flowers, candelabras with candles, golden cutlery, clear crystal glasses and plates and white napkins.
On the other hand, the guests’ tables were decorated in the same way except for a beige tablecloth.
Something that filled the space with light, harmony and romanticism was the lighting, as at sunset a lot of large and sophisticated crystal chandeliers lit up the space, which illuminated until dawn.
The wedding also included a large dessert table, with trays of different types of sweets and the creation of Carmen and Patricia, from Aquarela Cakes, who created a cake that was a work of art, as it was suspended in the air.
They combine different textures and flavours in their cakes and always achieve a spectacular and delicious result – true pastry professionals!
If there was something to talk about, it was the couple’s styling
Rebeca, the bride, walked down the aisle in a straight cut dress totally embroidered with floral motifs, as well as the transparencies she wore on the neckline, arms, back and train.
She paired this design with beautiful Jimmy Choo sandals in shimmering gold and a bouquet of flowers in pastel pinks and oranges with dusty green leaves.
We can’t overlook the detachable sleeves, which she added for the church, as well as the long veil.
As for the hairstyle, the bride opted for an updo with loose fringes on either side of her face, like a bubble ponytail, which she accessorised with a white floral tiara. Everything looked great with a natural make-up of greyish and slightly smoky shadows and pinkish lips.
Meanwhile, José, the groom, wore a navy blue morning suit with a navy blue waistcoat, which he wore over a white shirt and a geometric patterned tie. The lapel pin was a small simulation of the bride’s bouquet.
Lots of fun at the after party
For a very fun-loving bride and groom! That’s why they counted on Javy Salas as DJ, who has been handling the mixing tables to liven up the best parties for more than 10 years.
A videographer that many would like
The bride and groom were smiling for the camera, as were all the guests, from the moment they got dressed, to the moment they walked to the ceremony, during the banquet and even during the party.
Álvaro Aguado, director, scriptwriter and publicist, was in charge of capturing these happy moments, along with his team, who made the report leaving no stone unturned as if it were a filming.
