The chosen place: Sierra Nevada
Located in Granada, a province of Andalusia, this piece of land is considered one of the most beautiful places in the entire Autonomous Community. Surely you don’t know anyone who doesn’t know what Sierra Nevada is!
This was one of the places that Judit and Rafa had always dreamed of, so they could not miss a series of photos dressed as a bride and groom in this place declared as a National Park.
Do you know that it is the highest mountain in the entire Iberian Peninsula? As we told you, the bride and groom climbed metres and metres high and, between mountains, snow, clouds and wind, their vows were read and they posed in front of the lens.
It doesn’t matter what time of year you visit the sierra, because it never sleeps! So you will always have this backdrop available to photograph!
A most natural and picturesque couple
The most bohemian bride, Judit
With a dress from I do Atelier, an artisan atelier that makes each of its wedding dress designs by hand. It is located in the heart of the old bohemian neighbourhood of Barcelona, which is why many of its designs have a bohemian style, like the one our bride wore!
This dress specifically is the LOVE design, belonging to the FAITH 2018 collection. It consists of an A-line dress full of embroidery, with butterfly-style patches and an open back that is closed by a fine line of buttons.
The chosen hairstyle was a half-up look with which she put a touch of colour thanks to the Berta Miró brand headdress, whose headdresses are handmade with high quality materials and good finishes.
Judit’s headdress was in the form of a flower crown in yellow and brown tones that accompanied small golden leaves at the back.
Regarding makeup, the bride looked very natural with a very nude look that highlighted the beauty of the bride.
The groom, Rafa, elegant and diverse
A groom as different as they come, as due to being a good Andalusian his style didn’t lack the hat or the patterned neck scarf.
These elements perfectly complemented his brown wool suit jacket combined with a white shirt.
Time for the vows
They both pronounced their vows on one of the peaks of the landscape, where you can almost see Africa! Because, although it is separated by 250km, on some clear days you can see the African continent in the distance. Can you think of a more romantic way to read your vows to your partner?
We want to highlight the words that Rafa spoke to his already wife, the vows that on the wedding day made everyone shed the occasional tear:
“And this love is dying to discover you every second, growing in short distances to the extent of our dreams…, I have you close and I feel the heat that escapes from your chest burns me; the smell of your perfume surrounds me, and I carry it engraved in my memory, next to each letter of your name, next to the colour of your smile and the magic of your eyes; because running away with you is my favourite sport…”
In a magical place, magical photos
And even more so if the photographer in charge of the photo shoot was Rosa Garrido, whose magic light that afternoon collaborated in the photo shoot, helping Rosa capture the couple as naturally and sensitively as possible.
