Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca

Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca is a monumental place of exuberant beauty and class where ceremonies become majestic moments. It is located in the bay of the city of Palma de Mallorca and it has spectacular views over the sea. It is characterised by having the largest rose window in Europe.

Church of Santa Eulalia

This church shows architectural elements that are typical to the periods in which it was built. The Gothic style gives it a solid and imposing style. It is the only Mallorcan Gothic church with three naves, apart from the Cathedral Seo. This church was also one of the first parishes in Palma, when the existing mosque was converted into a church.

Sant Andreu Church

It is located in the centre of the village and dates back to the 14th century, when the village was fortified. A couple of centuries later, the apse, a side chapel and a shelter on the roof were added. The modern parish church began to be constructed in 1786, on the site of the old cemetery, which coincided with the side of the old church; the latter remained attached to the new construction and was dedicated to the Roser chapel.

Crystal Church

This is a modern church, located in a very quiet wooded area. It has a circular shape, and all its walls are covered with huge, beautiful stained-glass windows, with a luminosity that creates a very pleasant sensation when you enter the church. It also has a small ethnographic museum, quite interesting, with pieces referring to the history of the island.

The Convent of San Francisco

A magnificent ensemble of architecture, that also was declared a National Monument, consisting of the minor basilica of the same name, the cloister and several adjoining buildings. The main Baroque façade is remarkable, it was rebuilt by Francisco de Herrera in the 17th century. The statue of Fray Junípero Serra at the entrance is also interesting. The construction of the church began at the end of the 13th century and consists of a central nave and eight side chapels. The trapezoidal-shaped cloister, located next to the church, also forms a beautiful ensemble that was built between the 14th and 16th centuries.

The New Church of Son Servera

The neo-Gothic style Nova Church of Son Servera is a very peculiar religious temple, characterised by its clear and natural interior space. Nicknamed the unroofed church and located in an idyllic village in the eastern part of Mallorca, can you imagine yourself saying “I do” at your wedding under the blue Mediterranean sky?

The Parish Church of Sant Jaume

The construction of the Parish Church of Sant Jaume was begun at the beginning of the 14th century but it was not finished until the 16th century. It is known only the name of the master builder in 1327, that is Jordi Despujol. It is a Gothic building with a single nave with a ribbed roof and six rectangular chapels between the buttresses. It has an octagonal apse surrounded by chapels or apsidioles that were not part of the original construction. Religious symbols and the coats of arms of the temple’s patron families can be seen on the keystones of the vault.

Church of Santa Creu

Сhurch of Santa Creu (Santa Cruz) is located in the seaside neighborhood of Puig de Sant Pere, on the corner of Santa Creu and San Llorenç streets. It was one of the first four churches built in Palma de Mallorca. Its construction began in the 14th century in Gothic style. Inside you can see Gothic and Baroque altarpieces, such as the main altarpiece.

Church of Sant Miquel

Historians consider the church of Sant Miquel to be the oldest church in Palma de Mallorca. This church is built on the site of a Muslim Mosque that has been used as a Christian temple since the 13th century, when minor modifications were made to the original structure to adapt it for worship. The interior of the church, in Gothic style, has a central nave with side chapels and a trapezoidal apse with a half-barrelled roof. Of the original Gothic elements, only a vault and a Gothic arch in the first chapel remain.

Montesión Church

This church was built by the Jesuit monks at the end of the 16th century, a few years after they established themselves in the chapel of Nuestra Señora de Montesión, located on top of an old synagogue. On the outside, the main façade stands out with a late 17th century façade decorated with original Solomonic columns, which are unique in Mallorca.

Church of San Salvador

The ascent to the church begins with the transcendental 180-step stone staircase that King James I climbed after conquering the last Muslim territories in Mallorca. On the remains of a mosque, the castle of San Salvador was built in the 13th century, and inside there is a sanctuary of the Virgin of the same name. Although the current church is not the original one, which was burnt down to avoid the plague when it was used as a hospital in the 19th century. In the enclosure of the wall, about 90 metres wide, there is a large viewpoint that gives us a 360º view of the whole municipality.

Church of San Nicolás de Bari

This church was founded in 1302 and the current church was not the original one, as it used to be a chapel located near the Sagrario square, which was demolished in 1836. In the last quarter of the 17th century the building was rebuilt and blessed again in 1712. The barrel vault, the sacristy and the bell tower were built in a Gothic style.

Church of San Juan Bautista

Church of San Juan Bautista in Deià is peculiar for its location in the village of Deià, situated in the middle of the Tramuntana mountain range. To get there you have to take a short walk through the surrounding streets, something your guests will fall in love with because of the idyllic scenery it provides. Church of Santa Clara

The first mention of Church of Santa Clara dates back to the mid-13th century, when the Pope gave permission for the nuns to move the church from the convent and the Bishop of Majorca was responsible for installing and blessing the first stone. The church has one nave with six bays, eight side chapels and a hexagonal altar. The façade, made by the sculptor Antonio Carbonell in 1671, stands out in the centre of the façade. On the lintel of the entrance is a bas-relief of Santa Clara in a medallion, decorated with other bas-reliefs with natural motifs.

The parish church of San Bartolomé is situated in the middle of the beautiful village of Valldemossa, close to the Valldemossa Charterhouse and its beautiful gardens. All ceremonies here take on neoclassical overtones.
