A proposal of marriage in Mallorca that leaves you speechless
The beach is an idyllic place for a romantic date or to create a special atmosphere, especially the paradisiacal beaches with crystal clear waters of the Balearic Islands.
That’s why this space is so popular with many couples, who go to a beach or cove in this region to have that warm and romantic atmosphere to ask the big question of their lives.
Our bride and groom today are a French couple who came to Mallorca for a few days holiday. During their stay, the groom wanted to ask for his girl’s hand, and so he did! It is during the holidays that couples are most relaxed.
As soon as the groom contacted us we got down to work to prepare the most magical setting he could imagine.
A film set amidst champagne and candles
It was in one of the coves of Mallorca where the groom was going to kneel down in front of the bride and take out the beautiful ring, but first we had to prepare a dream setting. And he also wanted to have a picnic to celebrate the movie moment afterwards.
For the scene of this proposal in Mallorca, we arranged a large white towel on the rocks by the sea, accompanied by a rug with geometric motifs and several cushions so that the couple could sit comfortably.
We also had a small wooden table with legs on which we placed champagne, glasses, several white and orange candles and two plates with cloth napkins so that they could enjoy the snacks we had prepared.
The moment of kneeling, to loud applause
As they approached the place, so that the bride could not see anything before the time, the groom covered her eyes until they arrived and saw everything prepared.
She, astonished, did not stop listening to all the words that her man had to say to her, where he opened up and showed all his feelings before asking her to marry him.
You can see the bride’s face when the groom got down on one knee! A moment that caught the eyes of the most curious onlookers who were in the area and could not help but applaud and cheer at the groom’s gesture.
She, without a second’s hesitation, said yes amidst excitement and laughter and they automatically embraced in a long kiss and a warm hug.
The bride could not have imagined that she would end up being the main character of a proposal in Mallorca!
A bouquet of captivating flowers for the bride
The groom, so in love, wanted to present his bride with a bouquet of flowers after asking her to marry him. He tipped us off about the bride’s favourite flowers and we went straight to the bride’s favourite bouquet.
We put together a dreamy bouquet tied with a pink velvet ribbon that the bride would never forget, made up of white and pink roses, lilacs and lots of green leaves.
After the “I do”, it was time to enjoy the picnic
Amidst emotion, tears and much happiness, it was time to eat and to enjoy and celebrate the fact that they were already engaged.
Between kisses and hugs, the future husband and wife sat down to toast with champagne and eat fresh fruit.
And all in a place as beautiful as a cove in Mallorca!
Fresh, comfortable and elegant styles
The bride wore a light black dress full of embroidery, lace and transparencies for this special day.
As for the groom, he chose to wear a plain white polo shirt and black trousers.
