If weddings in Mallorca do not stop all year round, whatever happens, in times of Covid it was not going to be less, and this Mediterranean island that everyone falls in love with, continues to be one of the favourite destinations for the bride and groom to get married on it.
Long live the Balearic Islands! And we shout it from the rooftops because everyone knows, both nationals and foreigners, that these little pieces of land are the ideal destination for destination weddings.
And why is that? Well, because of its good climate, excellent communications, a gastronomy that leaves no one indifferent, the smell of the sea or the mountain views. It is an environment with a multitude of paradisiacal and original options!

Like the great Nixe Palace Hotel, which is located on the seafront and offers wonderful spaces with incredible views of the sea. The best thing is that you can hold the banquet on the outdoor terraces! Just like the ceremony, because for such a special, magical and unique moment, there is nothing like the charm of the Mediterranean.

A decoration that always matches
Full of colour and aromas is how the wedding space was filled, thanks to Flores De Mallorca, who specialised in floral decorations and decoration, and provided the bride and groom with no more and no less than 100 models based on different flowers and finishes.
The bride and groom, without hesitation, chose bouquets and floral arrangements composed of white, green and yellow tones, with all green leaves of different types, white flowers and yellow roses that gave off a natural scent that anyone would fall in love with.
Throughout the space, we could also see cages full of flowers, wooden boxes, candles and vases on the floor, fences full of yellow flowers and two chairs with white hair, which were the ones that made up the altar, of course overlooking the sea.
Ideal looks for a Balearic wedding
With a wedding dress by Leo Palma, Nerea was able to wear haute couture fashion from a firm that made the choice of her dress an experience.
Endless necklines with transparent fabrics, thin straps, bare backs, long tails, lace all over the dress, as well as embroidery, sweetheart necklines, covered backs, countless fabrics, Leo Palma has everything you are looking for!
Of course, the veil can never be missing, like Nerea, who with a medium or low up-do, hooked it with a beautiful hairpin as a headdress.
As for make-up and hair, the professionals were Make Up by Carmelo and The Xkin, a Mallorcan make-up artist, hairstylist and hair stylist, who took care of the bride’s make-up.
The make-up, elegant and simple at the same time, was composed of brown and bronze tones and some black blurred to match the eyeliner, giving the look a lot of intensity.
As for the groom’s suit, Rodrigo wore a suit with a tie, this one decorated with small white and grey squares, matching the white shirt and the anthracite grey suit.
Accessories in times of Covid
If there is an accessory that has been with us for more than a year, it is the mask, so, when celebrating a wedding in these times, it is necessary. That is why the team of Mascarillas Baleares carried out two designs for the bride and groom.
The firm’s masks are made of cotton fabric with a UNE 0065-certified surgical filter inside.
Nerea and Rodrigo’s masks were one in white and the other in black, both with satin fabric to match their dresses.
