It’s not uncommon for people to dream of their wedding on a paradise island. Surrounded by the white sands and the crystal clear sea, the bride with her dress fluttering in the waves, and a beautiful sunset. Well, in this article we’re going to show you another version of that dream wedding. The other side of the island, where it’s not all sea, but also countryside and lots of unique places.

The beautiful island
Mallorca, the essence of the Mediterranean, was the privileged location for this couple’s wedding. A place where the mountains and the coast meet, which is the result of inspiration from writers, musicians and painters, is the ideal setting for a wedding with style.
In the case of our couple, they opted for the mountains, and more specifically the Son Mesquida estate. A space which is simply designed to be adapted to your tastes, and entices you with its visual and distinguishable impact.
Ruth had no doubts about being able to adapt this estate to her tastes. Thanks to her talents as a designer she turned the space into an allegory of her wedding.
Green fields, baskets of wild flowers, banquets in the most rustic style, intertwined with astonishing sunsets, and much more is what this charming celebration offered us.
The lady of the Mediterranean
The feast began outside, with a bar made out of hay, complementing the colours of the island, and wooden tables covered with picnic tablecloths and local products such as cheeses, breads, and vegetables and baskets of dried flowers. All of this combined together to create a true delicacy for the guests.
The big day, full of anticipation and happiness, and speeches from loved ones can be summed up in a single image. The newly-weds, recently proclaimed husband and wife, holding hands, walking through the green landscapes of the island towards a new future.
