As we arrived, we appreciate that special microclimate in La Mancha and the gentle breeze that caresses the vineyards under the sun. The views are spectacular. We access the main building, with a beautiful architecture and a pleasant interior patio with a decoration that makes us feel very comfortable. We can not ignore the smell that reaches our nostrils, the smell of good wine, of the best grapes, the smell of quality.
Sitting under one of the porches of the patio we receive the manager, who after many years of experience, has kindly offered to show us all the benefits of this space and tell us how our couples could celebrate their fantasy wedding, at Hacienda Albae.

– Hacienda Albae is a family winery with a hotel in the heart of La Mancha. What is your story?
– Hacienda Albae, as you said, is a family winery, and it is the end of a beginning, since the construction of the winery has been a project for 40 years. It started with the planting of the first vineyards , which gave place to the beginning of a new stage which is the elaboration of wines with our own stamp, where the product is thoroughly taken care of from harvest to the glass.
The development of the winery came hand in hand with our latest machinery which is able to squeeze as much as possible the quality of our grapes. And finally, a unique complex in the heart of the spot that invites all visitors to soak in this story of this place.
– And, tell me, at what time did you decide to include a hotel in your winery?
– From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to include a hotel in the construction of the complex, since everything was shaped from the beginning.
– In relation to weddings, I understand that it would be possible to close the hotel exclusively for the event and that you also have guided tours, wine tastings, courses … What other services do you offer to the couple at Hacienda Albae so that they experience the wedding they always dreamed about?
– Our resort is very special because, as you say, we close the hotel and the resort exclusively for each couple, making not only weddings but also unique moments, offering all the spaces we have.
– Today there are different types of weddings … There are intimate and others with a large number of guests, but also religious weddings or civil ones. How do you manage each type of wedding here at Hacienda Albae?
– In Hacienda Albae what we prioritize is the personal treatment of each couple. They explain what they are looking for so we can realize what each of them requires. We can offer any type of ceremony, have themes…
– Without a doubt, your wines and brand, with the name of “author”, are distinguished and recognized worldwide. As you are showing us, you have the best grape variety and the best production process, which results in exceptional wines. But, from the culinary point of view what would you highlight as your great specialty? Are the menus you offer for large events set or can they be customized?
– At the culinary level, our goal is to work with the best products and from there try to win our clients’ palettes. We have the best professionals, who have more than 30 years of experience, which is a safe value for events of any kind. Our menus are not set so we prepare menus to everyone’s taste.
– In Hacienda Albae you work with great professionals, do you also have a team of professionals to help with the preparations for the couple?
-We have staff who help at all times with different preparations for the wedding, since many of our couples are not in Spain and during the few visits they have here we try to help them in any way.
– Hacienda Albae is an ideal place to enjoy rest and comfort. As you have mentioned before, you offer a wide range of activities that our couple and guests can do and enjoy without leaving the venue. But we can not ignore the spectacular surroundings of the estate, with such beautiful and worthy places to see such as Las Lagunas de Ruidera, the castle of Peñarroya, Campo de Criptana or the Parque Natural de las Tablas de Daimiel, do you plan any kind of activity so that guests can entertain themselves or enjoy this wonderful environment?
– We are in contact with companies around us, which we tell to the guests so they can do all kinds of activities, from cultural, getting to know the heritage that surrounds us such as: kayak, snorkel, routes 4×4, etc …
– One last question before finishing. Tell us … What differentiates Hacienda Albae from the rest of the spaces that also organize these types of events?
-The main difference that Hacienda Albae has to offer is the various spaces here in our complex. Our clients can enjoy themselves anywhere in the venue and have a magical time.
