Isolated at the top of the mountain in a tranquil environment full of nature is where these brides decided to celebrate their autumn wedding. They couldn’t have expected anything more or anything less from the Cortijo Sabila, a small paradise in the valley of Abdalajís, Málaga, 20 minutes from Antequera.
This rustic house is an ideal location to celebrate a wedding, with its traditional architecture as well as all of the comforts and modernity of today. It has stunning views from all terraces and gardens full of flowers, hammocks, a sports field, a solarium, stone benches, Balinese beds and an outdoor Jacuzzi. All of this is found in the middle of an estate of olive trees, almond trees and vegetable gardens.
This is an old country house that still keeps the original character of its time, and where besides celebrating your wedding you will be able to enjoy the most romantic stay, enjoying its living room with a fireplace and its traditional stone walls and rustic ceilings with beams made from tree trunks.
It is the perfect environment for you to enjoy the views of nature, autumn and light with peace and quiet to celebrate the most awaited day of your life. This was the right choice for these radiant brides who enjoyed tying the knot in the purest Andalusian style.
Both brides were dressed in designs by Higar Novias, a firm that perfectly combined a mixture of different fabrics and overlapping lace with doilies, making young and somewhat bohemian brides.
One of the brides opted for a white jumpsuit with long, straight trousers and a torso full of floral embroidery with an open back. The element that stood out the most in this outfit was the great train that was formed in spite of being a pair of trousers, as it was created by two long veils carved in both sleeves.
As for the other bride, she wore a design made from fabric also embroidered with flowers, with a boatneck neckline, the neckline that is very on trend after Meghan Markle wore one with her wedding dress. The dress was fastened at the neck and sleeveless, to create a fully open back. This dress stood out for its mermaid hem and for showcasing a big new trend: fringe, both on the lower part of the dress and at the waist.
As for the make-up and hairstyles, one of them was done by Mariángeles Cardoso while the other was done by Luisa Blanco.
Both styles were very simple as they stood out for leaving their hair loose with open waves. The brides accessorised the hairstyle with two headpieces, one with a hairpin on the side and the other with a flower crown that surrounded her whole head.
Regarding the make-up, it is worth mentioning that both brides were very natural, since the eye shadows were in light tones, such as brown, beige and cream, accompanied by a fine black eyeliner and a light pink lipstick. They radiated luminosity, beauty and simplicity!
The florist Ary was in charge of adding a romantic touch of colour through the flowers, with one bouquet made up of blue, orange, pink and violet roses in pastel tones, thus complimenting perfectly both the brides and the autumn environment.
Another one of the bouquets was made up of different flowers with blue and orange tones, as well as incorporating maroon, yellow and green leaves.
These flowers from both bouquets were incorporated throughout the decoration for the ceremony in small baskets, vases and jars, as well as in the upper part of the temple.
These wonderful photographs were taken by Anna Goryacheva, who, together with Wedding Planner Natalia Ortiz, perfectly achieved what these brides were looking for.
Are you thinking of getting married in Andalusia and making amazing memories with the birds singing in the background in the middle of autumn?
