A Catalan country house to become man and wife

Mas Montbrió Belvedere was the typical Catalan farmhouse chosen by this couple to get married, and it was clear from the beginning!

The farmhouse has been converted into a comfortable and charming rural house. Situated on a 24,000 m2 estate, among olive, lemon and orange trees, it has a well-tended garden, a large swimming pool and an outdoor area.

This space full of luxury and comfort is surrounded by a unique rural setting in which to enjoy your dream wedding, as it is located less than 10 minutes from the beaches of the idyllic fishing village of Cambrils, on the Costa Dorada. A haven in the heart of nature.

If you love history, romantic gardens and dinners under the stars… This is also the place for your wedding in Barcelona!

An “I do” of importance

High above and overlooking the sea, the bride and groom said “I do” at an altar perfectly decorated and in tune with the location.

This was made up of different decorative elements including: a wooden table, jute baskets full of flowers, a carpet, a stool for the bride and groom, a long linen cloth that reached the altar arranged as a carpet, glass vases full of paniculatas, etc.

Flowers everywhere

We all love flowers and even more if they are part of the decoration of a wedding.

The bouquet of flowers that the bride chose for her wedding in Barcelona matched her wreath of flowers in shades of pink, red and white, which were also accompanied by green leaves. A fresh, natural and modern bouquet and crown.

It is worth mentioning that the bride’s wreath was the work of art of Mireia Abras’ decoration studio, a place where they create custom-made projects to decorate special moments. Their team is focused on quality craftsmanship and specialise in creating spaces and floral decoration for weddings.

A welcoming banquet under the moonlight

A wedding in Barcelona dining under the moonlight is synonymous with romanticism and emotion, and if not look at the banquet set-up!

The wooden tables that were set without tablecloths were composed of wicker plates, silver cutlery and crystal glasses. A beautiful set-up that glowed at night thanks to the lighting of the garlands.

The banquet was held in the outdoor garden of the farmhouse, which created a warm and cosy atmosphere, inviting the guests to fill their stomachs.

The succulent dishes were provided by the ‘21 de marzo’ catering team, including a gastrobar corner! ‘21 de marzo’ is not just a simple catering company, as they adapt to new times, new family models and the new concept of leisure and celebration to create unique experiences through gastronomy.

The guests at this wedding were able to eat with all five senses!

Romantic and harmonious styling

The wedding dress was by Otaduy, specifically the Howard model, which was an overdress that is pure magic. One of Otaduy’s best sellers, thanks to its versatility and the elegance of its fabric.

It consisted of a lingerie dress with a see-through overdress full of embroidery, lace and rows of buttons.

For footwear, the bride wore Yves Saint Laurent shoes and fuchsia red sandals.

For his wedding in Barcelona, the groom chose a navy blue morning suit with a white shirt, navy blue tie and an Irish-style red checked waistcoat.

Classic transport for the newlyweds

It was clear to the couple that as newlyweds they could not be without a car with the traditional beer cans rattling around.

That’s why they chose the iconic Volkswagen design: their classic beetle, with circular headlights, a large bonnet extending to the front bumper, bulging wheel arches, rounded shapes, two doors…

We love brides and grooms who opt for classic cars for their big day!
