Palace Meres

History

Palace Meres is a palace from the XVI century. Located in Siero, Asturias, the Palace is asset of Cultural Interest in the Monument category. The property is protected by the General Inventory of Personal Property of Spanish cultural heritage and its historical archive is registered in the Directorate General of Fine Arts and Cultural Assets of the Spanish Ministry of Culture.

The restoration from the last five decades was supervised by the architect D. Joaquín Cores Uría, his brother D. José Ramón Cores Uría and their decendents.

The Palace has a great number of art pieces: restored furniture, porcelain pieces and pictorial art.

Palace Meres is a charming and perfect venue to celebrate different types of events: weddings, parties, guided tours, exhibitions, concerts, conventions, product release events…and even photo and film shootings, because of its architecture and beautiful enviroment.

You could celebrate a religious wedding at the Santa Ana Chapel, next to the palace, or civil weddings, a perfect cocktail in its gardens, a beautiful banquet and a lovely party. The Palace is surrounded by an oak forest.

It has a capacity from 50 to 1000 guests.
