History

The Balneario de Mondariz has been, since its inauguration in 1873, the flagship of the thermal baths in Galicia, a seaside region par excellence. An establishment that for more than a century has been able to concentrate artists, politicians, thinkers, special people … in an atmosphere of charm, tradition, tranquility and luxury in a particular Belle Époque.

The story started by the Peinador brothers who continued writing The Balneario de Mondariz has a large Congress and Convention Center equipped with facilities suitable for holding all kinds of events: meetings, banquets or congresses, including the Infanta Isabel auditorium, as well as various multipurpose rooms, private gardens and a large amount of outdoor spaces, providing a different and welcoming environment, ideal for any type of celebration.

The Mondariz spa offers its guests a water palace of 3.000m2, a thermal area, and also an attractive 18-hole golf course with a fun and demanding course, integrated in a natural environment, is a reference among the Galicia golf courses.
