1. If your cars could talk, what funny anecdote would you tell from a honeymoon?
If they could talk, they’d have a thousand stories to tell. One time the bride and groom forgot their rings and we had to turn around halfway. They were so nervous they couldn’t stop laughing, but hey, in the end, no one would continue the wedding without them. At another wedding, they threw so much rice that the bride and groom looked like they’d just gotten out of a snowstorm. And one time we happened upon a fun race and had to coordinate with the organizers to get through… in the end, we practically acted as a sweeper. Our cars have seen it all, and every story has its own charm.
2. Have you ever had a moment of “panic” because the car wouldn’t start, or a flat tire… (or something similar) just before leaving? How did you resolve it?
Once at the beginning, the Citroën’s fuel gauge got stuck and began to malfunction, so that when it was time to leave for the wedding, there was so little gas left that the car only traveled 50 meters. It was a brief moment of panic until we realized what was happening and the backup driver went to get a can of gas at a nearby gas station. We resolved the issue without adding any delays to the wedding, and everything went smoothly.
3. Have you encountered couples who wanted to drive the classic car themselves on their wedding day?
Yes, it’s quite common for couples to ask us about this option. We believe that in these moments, it’s best not to add any difficulties to the event. Classic cars, due to their characteristics (non-assisted steering, non-ABS brakes, unsynchronized gears, etc.), require considerable driving experience. It’s better to enjoy the back seat and relax in the exquisite handling of our chauffeurs. For this reason, and due to insurance issues, we currently don’t offer self-drive rental vehicles. We’re studying how to implement this option, with two-seater cars and dedicated insurance, but it’s not yet available.
4. What’s the most unexpected thing you’ve ever transported in one of your cars?
Well, so far, we haven’t transported anything out of the ordinary at a wedding. Sometimes the bride and groom ask us to keep their wallet, glasses, or cell phone in the car. We never cause any problems; the Cadillac trunks are very, very large, so they’re always there to solve any space issues that may arise.
5. If you could add any historical fictional car to your fleet (for example, the DeLorean from Back to the Future), which would you choose?
We’d love to have the DeLorean from Back to the Future, but only if it comes with a working flux capacitor. That way, we could travel back to the golden years of motoring and bring more classic gems into our fleet before they become so precious. A gem like the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 also comes to mind. It’s the perfect blend of British elegance, cinematic history, and classic power. It represents exactly what inspires us: cars with soul, class, and character.
6. What would be your “golden piece of advice” for the bride and groom who want their arrival at the altar to be unforgettable?
Our main advice is to enjoy the journey. Often, the couple’s nerves make it so they don’t even remember how they arrived. Roll down the windows, listen to the engine of the classic car, and experience those moments as if they were yours alone. Often, the arrival at the altar and the walk to the reception will be the last moment of peace and intimacy the couple will have; from then on, the photos and greetings will be nonstop. We also always advise them to try to understand nerves as part of the wedding, even the glitches and unforeseen events are just part of it; in the future, you’ll only remember them as good times and anecdotes.
7. Have you had any weddings with an unusual theme where the car was an essential part (1920s, Hollywood, medieval, etc.)?
Yes, we had a biker-style wedding that stole our hearts. The bride wore a white dress and a leather jacket; it looked great next to a true American muscle car like the Cadillac Eldorado. We also shot one with the Citroën Avant, which had a modernist aesthetic. Our car provided a distinctive touch and truly transported us back to a Victorian past.
8. What has been the most extravagant request a couple has made for their wedding car?
We’ve had many unusual requests, but one of the most extravagant was a couple who wanted us to change the color of the car to pink. We always strive to fulfill their dreams, but in this case, we had to say no… for the sake of the car!
9. What is the most photographed car in your fleet of wedding cars in Valencia, and why do you think it creates so much magic?
The most photographed car in our fleet is, without a doubt, the 1970 Cadillac DeVille. It has a very special color, a pearly off-white hue that changes completely depending on the light: sometimes it looks like ivory, other times almost silver. This ability to transform, to reflect the light at any given moment, gives it a unique magic. Its stylized yet defined lines magnify the sparkle and give it a spectacular presence.
10. What was the most picturesque or surreal route you’ve ever had to travel with a newlywed couple?
One of the most picturesque routes was a wedding in a small town with narrow, cobblestone streets. We were driving a huge Cadillac, so every turn was a little adventure. The neighbors came out to watch, applauded, and even guided us through. And on another occasion, the GPS decided to innovate and took us down an impossible country road. The bride and groom were laughing the whole way, and in the end it became an anecdote we still remember fondly.
11. Which car do you think would best fit a Tarantino movie wedding? Or a Disney one?
For a Tarantino-style wedding, we would definitely choose our 1974 Cadillac Eldorado. It has that imposing presence and that elegant mobster car feel that seems straight out of a Tarantino film: powerful, with personality, and a scene-stealing aesthetic. On the other hand, for a Disney wedding, we would opt for our Citroën, which has a romantic and classic charm, perfect for a modern princess. It’s a car with style, but also with sweetness and a contemporary fairytale touch.
12. What’s the team’s “secret favorite” car, the one everyone would ask for their own wedding?
The team favorite is the 1970 Cadillac DeVille. We all agree it has something special about it: its color changes with the light, and every time we see it, it surprises us again. It’s elegant without being over-the-top, and it has that car-like quality that’s both impressive and moving. If we were to get married, it would be that one.
