Sther, tell us—how did your career in bridal hair and makeup begin?

From a young age, I felt a very special connection to the world of beauty. I started helping out at a salon when I was just 14, and from that moment on, I knew this was my path. I trained, worked hard, and gradually grew as a professional until I became the stylist I am today.

If you had to choose one word to describe your professional style, what would it be?

I’d say elegance. I always aim to highlight each person’s natural beauty without masking it, adding a sophisticated and timeless touch.

36 years of experience is no small feat. How has your style or approach to working with brides evolved over time?

A great deal. In the past, the approach was more standardized, but today, everything is far more personalized. I make it a priority to truly get to know each bride, understand her style, and tailor the hair and makeup to suit her personality, dress, setting, and essence.

In your experience, what’s the most important thing for a bride when choosing her hairstyle and makeup?

To feel like herself. Hair and makeup should reflect who she is, not disguise her. It’s also essential that she feels comfortable, confident, and radiant.

Is there a specific detail you always aim to highlight in each bride’s look?

Yes, I always try to emphasize the eyes. They express so much, and I love when they shine with emotion and confidence. I also pay close attention to the skin—a luminous complexion is key.

How do you handle the nerves or high expectations of brides who are usually a bit anxious on their big day?

With calm and empathy. I like to create a relaxed, warm, yet professional atmosphere. I listen, stay by their side, and give them a sense of confidence so they can truly enjoy the moment.
