First of all, tell us something that few people know about you, something that makes you different, that distinguishes you from the rest…

Something that few people know about us is that, in addition to my passion for travel, we are firm believers in the power of authentic experiences. We like to travel not only as tourists, but as locals, always looking for the essence of each place. This mentality helps us to personalize trips in a deeper way, connecting the bride and groom with the genuine and exclusive aspects of each destination. It is something that sets us apart, not only because we offer tailor-made itineraries, but because we make sure that each couple has an experience that they feel is their own, authentic and unique.

Let’s imagine someone is looking for their dream trip, but they have no idea where to start. How do you help them find their way? What are the first steps?

The first thing we do is get to know the couple thoroughly: their tastes, interests, how they see themselves as a couple, and what kind of experiences they are looking for on their honeymoon. Sometimes, they don’t even know where to start, so we guide them with open-ended questions, helping them visualize what they really want. Do they prefer a luxury and relaxation experience or one of adventure and exploration? From there, we present them with several destination options that fit their personality and help them refine the details, making sure that every aspect is aligned with what they want to experience.

Sometimes, couples have very different ideas of what they want for their honeymoon. How do you keep both of them happy and achieve the perfect balance?

In these cases, our job is to advise and find a balance that combines the best of both worlds. If one of you prefers relaxation in a resort and the other adventure and exploration, we can design an itinerary that combines these two approaches: a few days of rest in an ideal destination, followed by a more active or adventurous getaway. The key is to make sure that both are satisfied, but always with the flexibility to adapt to new ideas that arise during the planning.

We know you’re experts at custom trips, but… What’s the weirdest, craziest or most extravagant request you’ve ever received from a couple?

One of the most extravagant requests we received was from a couple who dreamed of a honeymoon where they could combine luxury and wilderness in a completely unique way. They wanted to experience a private safari in Namibia, but with a very specific detail: they wanted to see the ‘Big Five’ in a different way, without being surrounded by tourists. The couple didn’t just want traditional safaris, they wanted to fully immerse themselves in the African landscape, live a more authentic experience and, at the same time, enjoy maximum comfort. So we designed a very personalized itinerary that took them to the Namib Desert, where they stayed in a luxury ‘glamping’ camp (glamour + camping) in the middle of the dunes, completely isolated from the rest of the world. They spent their days on exclusive safaris, but we also organised activities for them such as a plane flight over the red dunes, to see the desert from the air, and a private dinner in the middle of the desert at sunset, with local musicians playing for them.

The most exciting part was when we organised a night safari for them in search of nocturnal wildlife, which is not usually common on regular safaris. They were accompanied by an expert guide who explained the customs and behaviour of the animals at nightfall, making this experience something totally out of the ordinary. In the end, we managed to give the couple a completely exclusive honeymoon, which combined luxury, adventure and the wild beauty of Namibia in a way they didn’t expect. It was without a doubt one of the most special and challenging trips we have organised.

On tailor-made honeymoons, everything has to be perfect. What is that little detail that you take the utmost care of so that everything goes perfectly?

One of the details that we always take care of is the moment of arrival. First impressions are key, and we make sure the accommodation is ready to welcome the bride and groom with something very special: a personalised gift, such as a bottle of champagne or a bouquet of fresh flowers, or even a hand-written letter with a local touch. That feeling of being welcomed and celebrating something unique sets the tone for the rest of the trip.

This year you launched the Trip Book for trips over €6,000. What is it, what is so special about this book and why is it so magical?

The Trip Book is much more than a travel guide; it is a personalised work, a kind of honeymoon diary, which is given to the bride and groom as part of the trip. It contains detailed itineraries, but also recommendations for secret places, unique little experiences and tips for enjoying the destination to the fullest. What is special about it is that it is handmade, with photos and details from their own trip, so that when they open it, they feel like they have experienced something truly unique. It is like a tangible memory of a magical experience.

We know that tailor-made honeymoons are a unique trip, but… what do you think of “minimoons”? Those short getaways that are so trendy. Do you organize them too?

Of course you do! Minimoons are a wonderful trend that is gaining a lot of ground, especially for couples who don’t have the time or budget for a long honeymoon. Minimoons often allow couples to enjoy an immediate break after the wedding, without waiting for a long vacation. They are perfect for weekend getaways, short trips to nearby destinations, or even longer stays in more accessible places. The important thing is to make those few days count, and that is what we love to organize: magical moments, even if they are short.

Your agency is multi-destination, but… if you had to choose just one destination to specialize in, which one would it be and why?

If you had to choose just one destination, it would probably be Southeast Asia, and more specifically, Thailand or Bali. Both destinations have a perfect blend of natural beauty, rich culture, luxury and adventure options. Thailand, for example, offers heavenly beaches and incredible mountains, while Bali has a very attractive spiritual and cultural vibe. These destinations have a special magic for tailor-made honeymoons, as they offer the possibility of creating completely personalized itineraries, both for those seeking relaxation and those looking for adventure.

What would you say is the favourite destination for couples today? The one they ask you for the most?

The most popular destinations today are the Maldives, Greece and Costa Rica. The Maldives remain a classic for tailor-made honeymoons due to their privacy, luxury and dreamlike landscapes. Greece, with its islands such as Santorini or Mykonos, is very popular for its scenic beauty and vibrant culture. And Costa Rica is becoming increasingly popular with couples looking for a mix of nature, adventure and tranquility.

What happens if someone contacts you just a month before their honeymoon? Can you make magic in such a short time?

Definitely! Although it is ideal to plan with more time, we can always make magic even in short time frames. The important thing is to be clear about what kind of experience they are looking for, and from there, we make an effort to make their dreams come true, from adjusting itineraries to finding the best accommodations and activities available. Sometimes, magic also happens when we are faced with time challenges; Flexibility and creativity are key.

If you could give just one piece of advice to those who are planning their tailor-made honeymoons, what can’t they miss out on doing or thinking about before embarking on that adventure?

My advice is that, before making decisions about the destination, think about what you really want as a couple. Beyond the trendy destinations, what’s important is what you both enjoy: relaxation, adventure, culture, gastronomy? This is the time to create unforgettable memories, so make sure the trip reflects your interests and personality as a couple.
