How did the idea of creating “La Perfecta Prometida” start and what motivated you to specialize in luxury wedding planning
The idea was born from my wedding, that’s when I realized how stressful it is to organize a wedding without ever having done it before. Especially when you have to combine it with your day to day life at work, family, taking care of your relationship…. All this together with the experience I had of more than 10 years in organizing events prompted me to open La Perfecta Prometida.
Our specialization in luxury weddings was not something premeditated from the beginning, but a natural evolution based on what our couples value: attention to detail, personalization and custom design. When we talk about “luxury weddings”, we don’t just mean high budget or opulence; for us, luxury is in the unique details, in a high level of care for the couple to feel understood and in the ability to create unique experiences for each couple and their guests.
What is the philosophy behind your comprehensive and personalized approach to weddings?
Our motto is simple: weddings are not a standard product, they are reflections of each couple’s love story. That’s why we listen a lot, adapt and build from scratch an experience that makes them vibrate. We work holistically so you don’t have to worry about anything, and our personalized approach and organization of luxury weddings ensures that each one is completely different and special.
Could you explain what “La Casita de la Boda” is and how it works and what benefits it offers to couples?
La Casita de la Boda is our way of putting in your hands a practical, orderly and visual tool to follow the organization process. It is a virtual space where couples can find everything: their calendar, pending tasks, confirmed suppliers, updated budget and even a personalized space where they can make the guest list, the seating plan. It is a way to give them control and peace of mind without losing sight of the human side of the process.
What kind of tasks are included in this task manager that you use for the organization of luxury weddings?
It includes everything from tracking invitation design to managing B-day protocol. There are reminders for important decisions, deadlines and tasks customized for each couple’s specific needs. We also add tips and practical tools to help you enjoy the process without stress.
How do you ensure that each wedding is unique and tailored to the wishes of the bride and groom?
The key is to listen and get to know the couples. From the first meeting we seek to understand who they are, their tastes, their dreams and even the small details that define them. From there, we create a custom design and work hand in hand with the best suppliers to make it happen. And all along the way, they are 100% involved, our maxim is to make sure that every decision is aligned with their vision.
What is the profile of the team at “La Perfecta Prometida” and what roles does each one play?
Our team is made up of people who are passionate about weddings, creative and with different profiles that adapt to each type of couple, always specialists in organizing luxury weddings. We have 6 wedding planners on the team, both to organize the wedding from start to finish and to coordinate the day itself, we have 3 designers and many assistants who make sure the wedding is a success.
What is the hallmark that distinguishes “La Perfecta Prometida” from other wedding planners?
Undoubtedly, our closeness and ability to improvise in the face of any challenge. We create weddings that tell stories and we take care of both the big moments and those small details that guests will never forget. In addition, we are backed by solid experience and our own team, something that is not always common in the industry.
Do you specialize in certain types of weddings or certain groups of clients?
We love working with couples who value creativity and details and who want to fully enjoy their wedding, regardless of its style. We have organized from intimate weddings in rural houses to large celebrations in palaces. The key is to adapt to what they dream of and bring our experience to make it happen.
How many events do you handle in one day and why did you choose that limit?
As we have such a large team we can do several events a day but we always like to have wedding planners from the team available in case something happens to us and we know that we can count on reliable professionals to solve everything. For us, it is very important to know that all our weddings will follow our scheme of work and our protocol. We want each couple to feel that they have our full attention and dedication, from the first coffee to the last dance.
What criteria do you follow to select your suppliers?
We look for professionals who share our philosophy: passion for details, professionalism and desire to make the wedding the most special day of our couples. In addition, we always value the quality of their work, their experience and, above all, mutual trust. When there is good harmony between everyone, the result is spectacular.
Do you have any funny or endearing stories from a wedding you have organized, something that really touched you or made you laugh during the process?
On one occasion, the groom prepared a lovely surprise for his partner: he hired a Lebanese dance group with live percussion. The performance began spectacularly, with breathtaking choreography that blew everyone away, including the bride, who had no idea this was going to happen. At the end, the group invited all the guests to join in for one last dance, creating a magical and energetic moment. The bride, completely moved, ended up crying with happiness, and it was one of those moments you remember forever. It was a detail full of love and meaning, which reflected the special connection between them.
What has been the most shocking or challenging unforeseen event you have faced during a wedding, and how did you manage to handle the situation so that everything went smoothly?
I remember a wedding where we arrived early, as usual, to set up all the decorations. The wedding was in the afternoon and, around 12:00, we received a call from the photographer telling us that he would not be able to attend. Imagine our face at that moment: a wedding without a photographer is not an option.
We went crazy calling all our contacts, checking who could be available that same day and, moreover, who could meet the conditions that the bride and groom had hired. It was a moment of nerves, but also of teamwork. Finally, we got a photographer who arrived on time, and the wedding turned out beautifully. For them, their day was perfect, and that’s what matters.
