In today’s interview, we present Infuse Drone Show, an innovative company specialized in transforming the skies with drone light shows for unique and memorable events.
Since their early days in the world of drones, Infuse’s founders have explored multiple creative uses, but it was three years ago that they ventured into aerial light shows, inspired by videos they found online. Today, with more than 50 drones flying autonomously and creating custom figures, Infuse offers sustainable and pollution-free shows, providing an original and eco-friendly alternative for special events.
We dive into a conversation with them to learn more about their creative process, how they design each show to order, and how they determine the number of drones needed for each occasion. With a forward-looking vision focused on technologies like holograms and exploring new ways to wow audiences, Infuse Drone Show is positioning itself as a leader in drone light shows for events.
If you’re looking for something spectacular and different for your wedding or event, discover in this interview how this passionate team has revolutionized entertainment for weddings and celebrations, creating visual experiences that surprise and leave everyone with the famous “WOW” effect!
How did the idea of Infuse Creation come about, and what motivated you to offer drone light shows?
We discovered the world of drones as kids, and we’ve never stopped working with them since. Initially, we started separately, playing with smaller drones, recording content in the mountains, and taking what we thought were unique photos… Later on, we realized that drones weren’t just for creating audiovisual content; they could also be used for 3D mapping of properties, topography, maintenance inspections, and working at heights… Finally, three years ago, inspired by some videos we’d seen online (and doubting their authenticity), we decided to investigate the world of drone light shows. Once we realized this could be real, we didn’t hesitate for a second – that had to be Infuse’s destiny.
More than 50 drones flying autonomously, simultaneously creating unique custom figures without causing any pollution?
- “Are you joking?” asked Jose.
- “We have to go for it!” replied Rai.
After two years of development, legal processes, and more, Infuse Drones & Creations is offering drone light shows to its clients starting in May 2025.
What makes your drone light show unique compared to other types of entertainment for weddings and events?
First, as an emerging technology, it’s something that more than 80% of your wedding/event attendees will have never seen before, and we all know that first times are always special.
Second, these are 100% customizable shows, tailored to the client’s ideas and vision. From something as simple as letters or words to shapes, objects, logos, and animals… All of this is choreographed to music that suits the moment.
Third, it’s a 100% eco-friendly event, with no smoke or pollutants, and respectful of people and animals sensitive to loud noises or explosions.
¿How many drones are part of your fleet, and how do you decide how many to use for each show?
As we’ve mentioned, our drone light shows are 100% tailored to the client’s needs. For indoor shows, the fleet consists of fewer than 50 drones (due to space limitations), while for outdoor shows, we typically start with a minimum of 50 drones, although we also create designs with fewer drones upon request.
The number of drones for each show is determined by the design chosen for the event.
What’s the creative process for designing a custom show for each client?
Step 1 – Initial meeting with the client, where they choose figures from our catalog and decide which they want to customize. For personalized figures, the Infuse team drafts the first version.
Step 2 – Infuse designs the custom figures in a 3D virtual environment and presents the final result to the client.
Step 3 – Any modifications requested by the client are made in the 3D environment, and the final design is confirmed for flight.
Step 4 – A test flight with the finished design is conducted in one of Infuse’s airspaces.
Step 5 – A final test flight is performed at the event location.
Step 6 – The final flight takes place at the event, on the set date and time
What kind of music can you incorporate into the show, and how is it selected?
The choice of music that accompanies the drone flight is the client’s responsibility during the initial creative process. They will choose the timing and figures for the show’s theme, as well as the songs to go along with it.
What is the ideal duration for the show, and how many repetitions can be performed during a single event?
The recommended duration for the show is 10-15 minutes, which corresponds to the average amount of time that spectators are willing to watch something in the sky. However, it can also be customized upon request.
Multiple repetitions are possible, with a minimum gap of 45 minutes between each one.
What is your signature element in each show?
Infuse Drone light shows are characterized by two main themes:
- Dynamic figures – Our figures aren’t static, as that would make them feel unrealistic. We strive to bring the figures to life in the sky.
- Colors – We aim for vibrant, shifting, and eye-catching colors that represent the show.
How far in advance should clients book their drone show to ensure proper preparation?
The minimum booking time for an Infuse Drone show is three months. However, for special occasions or shorter timelines, we recommend contacting us to explore alternative options.
What types of events and spaces are best suited for drone light shows?
Ideally, any outdoor space with good visibility and few obstacles in the airspace, as well as being far from airports or restricted airspaces (these spaces require more paperwork).
For indoor shows, any structure that allows for a safe flight for attendees, with the property owner’s approval, is suitable.
What advice would you give to couples considering adding a drone show to their wedding?
A wedding is a unique moment, and we aim to wow your guests in surprising ways that they’ll remember for a long time. Infuse Drones is your sustainable, unique, and different alternative.
What additional services do you offer besides drone light shows?
Infuse Drones also offers:
- Video mapping on building facades with custom light designs.
- Aerial coverage of the event (photo and video) in coordination with the team handling the ground coverage.
How do you envision the future of Infuse Drones, and what new developments are you planning for your drone light shows?
We see Infuse Drones as a company that helps create special and memorable moments with eco-friendly alternatives, while still delivering spectacular events.
In terms of new developments, we are experimenting with more realistic designs and exploring new technologies such as holograms and other ways to impact spectators.
