What is the first step you take when you start working on organization of epic events to understand and capture the client’s vision?
The final objective, what we want to achieve, that WOW, then comes what is in our hands to achieve it, for this we meet with all our couples and get to know them more in depth.
How do you customize each event from start to finish to ensure it fits perfectly with the client’s vision, needs and/or desires?
With any element, it can be anything, an intro, a show, a decorative element… What is important in the end in our organization of epic events, what truly makes the difference are the details, that customization taken to the extreme.
Could you share an example of a particularly innovative or unusual idea you have carried out and how you turned it into a reality?
This year in the organization of epic events we did our Boogie Show 4.0, a super special dance with the bride and groom with a conical blue laser while a shower of bubbles fell with their favorite song. It appeared in many magazines, a very special moment.
How do you ensure that each event maintains a high level of originality and is different from others you have held?
Spending hours with our creative team. There is no other way, there are no shortcuts to achieve that WOW, that differentiating moment.
How do you collaborate with other suppliers or collaborators to ensure that all elements of the event come together smoothly?
We are an agency and we trust ourselves a lot. We try to make everything possible depend on us and be in our hands.
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced when designing an event and how did you overcome it?
Ufff, I think it’s the most difficult question you’ve asked me so far, because each Black Lotus is a big challenge and we like that. To tell you one, I would say Boogie Show 3.0, where we had to replicate the famous Studio 54 nightclub in New York from the 80s. It was difficult and exciting at the same time.
If a client comes in with a completely abstract concept, like “the essence of freedom,” how would you transform that idea into a physical, experiential event?
I would play with visual elements such as landscapes, trips, open skies, etc. that convey freedom, as well as combine it with the color white, green and blue that convey freedom and nature. I would also implement surrounding sounds of nature such as wind, rain, ocean waves, birds singing or why not, the sound of a storm.
In which place, and with what theme, as well as for which famous person, would you like to organize epic events and why?
Well, there are many places, but for example the Tio Pepe winery in Jerez, we have never worked there, it is a historical site and it is beautiful. An elegant event for the legend of Hans Zimmer or for something highly relevant corporate like Formula 1 would be perfect.
How would you manage lighting and sound at an event that completely changes the theme in the middle of the celebration?
Transforming people’s sensory perceptions through smells, colors, flavors, sounds, shows, etc.
If a client requests a complete sensory experience for their event that includes stimuli for smell, touch and taste, how would you design it?
We would design everything in our warehouse-laboratory where we manufacture and test everything to measure.
What is the smallest but significant detail that you consider essential for an event to have a lasting impact on attendees?
The exclusivity. Not carrying out the organization of epic events and not doing many Boogie Show per year.
