Here we tell you how we organized this proposal full of emotion, laughter and, of course, love. From the coordination with the mimes to the moment of taking a knee, everything was perfect to create an unforgettable moment.
Lights, camera and action!
The “Yes” while sightseeing in the capital
Today we have a story that is pure theater… literally. Our boyfriend decided to propose in the heart of Madrid’s Retiro Park, and he did it with mimes! All this during your vacation in Spain. The idea was to keep everything a secret, making his girlfriend think that they were just going for a tourist walk through the famous park. But, when he least expected it… surprise!
And why choose vacations for a proposal? Well, because it is when we are relaxed and distracted by so many new things, that it is almost impossible to suspect anything. It is the perfect time to prepare an unforgettable surprise.
This lovely couple came from Mexico, and the groom’s great idea was to take them to the Rosaleda del Retiro. There, among roses and mimes, he asked for her hand, without her suspecting anything! The result? A “I do!” between pampering that they will never forget.

One of everyone’s favorite places are parks. Who goes on a trip and doesn’t take a tour of the most famous in the city? Our boyfriend today was looking for a special place to transform an ordinary walk into an unforgettable moment for his proposal. And all without raising suspicions!
We suggested some places in the capital, but he didn’t hesitate for a second: his proposal with mimes had to be in the Retiro Park.
It must be said that this is not the first time that we have organized a marriage proposal in this place. In fact, at the Retiro we are true experts in creating magical moments. It is one of the parks that both couples and us love the most.
For this occasion, within the Retiro itself, the groom opted for the Rosaleda area. This garden is filled with flowers in spring and has several fountains and metal structures, creating the perfect setting for a beautiful proposal.
MARRY ME letters with lights
In addition to the mimes, the fountain and the lush vegetation that already adorned the park, we gave this proposal an extra special touch with the illuminated letters “MARRY ME”.
These sparkling lights added a magical touch and ensured the moment was absolutely unforgettable.
Because what would a proposal be without a little glitz and glamour?
A violin playing live in a proposal with mimes
We added a musical touch with a live violin for this proposal. This wonderful instrument was responsible for giving life to the environment from the first chord, adding a touch of elegance and emotion.
Because, if anything can make a moment even more magical, it is music that touches the heart!
Two mimes entered the “Yes” scene
In Retiro Park, street artists are part of the landscape, so we devised the perfect plan so that the bride would not suspect anything: two mimes colluding in the proposal.
The couple was walking quietly when, suddenly, the mimes appeared and began their performance just as the violin began to play a soft melody in the background.
The mimes, with their theatrical gestures, took Sol by the arms and guided her to the place prepared for the big moment. She was completely surprised! That’s when the boyfriend appeared, got down on one knee and asked his girl for her hand. Excited and without a second’s hesitation, she responded with a resounding “yes, I do.”
After this moving moment, it was time to celebrate:
The final touch, champagne!
After Sol’s resounding “yes,” the Mexican couple uncorked the champagne and toasted eternal love. And every celebration must have a good toast and some exquisite bubbles.
