Valentine’s Day proposal in Madrid
Armando is from Costa Rica, and Tatiana is from the USA, and the couple who live in the United States decided to come to Spain on vacation, specifically to Madrid, the capital city.
They wanted to take advantage of Valentine’s Day for a romantic getaway, and in addition to celebrating Armando’s birthday, he decided to propose to Tatiana. All in one!

The groom organized a walk through Retiro Park in the middle of their vacation in Spain, so the bride wouldn’t suspect anything, as they were just going to walk around the park as a tourist activity. This way, when she least expected it, he could pull out a ring and propose right there.
In Madrid, in the heart of the city, is this park, which is unique because it has different areas perfect for proposing: corners like the lake, the Crystal Palace, the botanical gardens of the Rosaleda, fountains, etc. And it was precisely the Rosaleda area that the groom chose for the big question.
