The marriage proposal on Valentine’s Day in Barcelona
The couple lives in Israel and decided to come to Spain for a vacation, specifically to Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia and the second largest city in the country.
They wanted to take advantage of Valentine’s Day for a romantic getaway with some friends and to carry out their marriage proposal. All in one!
On vacation, we are all more relaxed and calm, making it the perfect moment to carry out a marriage proposal.
What started out as a trip with friends… ended up with a wedding on the horizon!
The romantic marriage proposal was in a labyrinth
Yes, you read that right. The groom proposed to his girlfriend in a labyrinth, specifically in one of the city’s most famous parks: the Labyrinth Park of Horta.
After looking at different spaces with the groom, upon seeing this Barcelona park, he didn’t hesitate! And it’s gorgeous.
It was originally created as a neoclassical garden with an Italian touch and ended up as a romantic garden. Without a doubt, the greatest charm is the labyrinth made of cypress walls and the large sculpture right in the center of the labyrinth.
The marriage proposal took place in a kind of lookout with views of the entire labyrinth between columns and a staircase.
The “I do” moment was well decorated
While the couple, along with their friends, took a walk in the park, and without the girlfriend suspecting anything about what was going to happen, we made sure that everything was already prepared for the big moment.
As the couple walked through the park, they climbed the staircase to the small lookout point and were surprised to come across the decoration we had prepared in advance.
The scene was composed of a lot of rose petals everywhere, a candle, and a heart also made of rose petals. Super romantic!
The bride, excited and happy, did not hesitate to say a resounding “YES, I DO!”
