Do you know what an eloping wedding is? It is one of those ceremonies in which the bride and groom prefer to elope to marry alone rather than with many guests. And that is what Vanessa and Anthony, our boyfriends, did, who chose to celebrate an intimate wedding in Madrid, at the the Palace in Madrid.
But why the Aldovea Palace, to say “yes I do”?
That is very easy! Because this palace, formerly a medieval castle used as a fortress, located in the Madrid town, between Torrejón de Ardoz and San Fernando de Henares, is the perfect place for a unique magical wedding.
And it is that the construction of the palace, whose origin dates back to the 18th century, continues to maintain its classic style, its architectural elements, and the design of the spaces, including chandeliers, terracotta tiles, its wooden doors, and windows…
An environment to remember
Vanessa and Anthony found in their 2,000 square meters the perfect setting for their intimate wedding, where they had all the rooms, the garden area, the semi-closed patio…
In addition, the building is within the category of the monument for the great beauty of its ponds, gardens with fountains, majestic facade… and with the Henares river just 500 meters away!
In this environment, did our couple get married in the Palace in Madrid or in Italian Tuscany?
Greens and whites for floral decoration
Have you ever seen bouquets of flowers with fruit? Well, at Monceau Fleurs they are experts! And the couple, seeing this composition, did not think about it and put a fruity touch to the decoration of their big day.
All the leaves consisted of green tones and with infinite shapes, while the flowers, (also of different models: roses, proteas, bush flowers…) were in white color. All this, in turn, accompanied by bright and green apples.
On the way to the altar…
This floral decoration was also seen on the altar, which, in the form of an arch with a metal frame, dropped a lot of leaves and flowers, and of course, apples were included!
Thus, it is normal that Monceau Fleurs has a recognized knowledge for more than 50 years. The result of this wedding was spectacular!
The bride and groom, the sea of romantic and simple
With a Jesus Peiro design, the bride wore a mermaid dress with a large V-neckline in front and a small lace in the center. The back also had a neckline, which was followed by a buttoning.
The fabric of the entire dress was full of openwork, including the slight train. Simple, romantic, and elegant!
Vanessa was beautiful, and with her cream toe shoes, her headdress and makeup, even more so.
A very simple and natural makeup
Makeup artist Alina did a bronze and metallic shades, a fine black liner on the eyelid, and also in a watermark, which highlighted her look even more.
For the lips, the choice was a nude tone, and for the hairstyle, the right option was to leave her long brunette hair loose and accompany it with waves and a small leaf-shaped headdress, as well as those of the decoration.
Meanwhile, the groom…
He also followed the classic and romantic line, with a navy suit and a white shirt, yes, with a touch of informality since he did not wear a tie or bow tie.
The look was accompanied by a brown belt to match his brown derby shoes.
