The weather, the beach, the light of the sunset, the incredible views… everything that Alicante has makes the city breathe love and romanticism! That is why many couples choose to have their proposal in Alicante.
It is not the first proposal that we’ve done with the Castle of Santa Barbara in Alicante as a backdrop, and it is that this destination is becoming very popular to make proposals, and it is not for less! Because it is the cause for love at first sight.
And if not, just tell it to Cian, today’s boyfriend, who saw the proposal we did at the Castillo de Santa Barbara and immediately had it clear, we didn’t have to look any further to surprise his girlfriend!
We couldn’t have loved this proposal that we organised more, so we’ll tell you all about it below.
Get inspired for yours!
A proposal on holiday
This couple from the UK came to Alicante on holiday, so the groom, Cian, wanted to take the opportunity to propose to his girlfriend, Alice. And the fact is that on holiday we are all more relaxed and calm, which is a perfect time to carry out the proposal.
Alice obviously didn’t know anything about it, she thought she was just going to visit the castle and enjoy the views as a tourist activity on her holiday, but when she saw that they were having their photos and video taken, she became suspicious.
The moment she sensed something was happening and turned around, she saw Cian bending down and asking for her hand.
A place to get down on one knee “at an altitude”
On the Benacantil mountain, in Alicante, we find the Castle of Santa Barbara, with wonderful views, no less than 166 metres above sea level! Did you know that this place is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain?
What the bride and groom loved the most were the views! From the chosen spot, the bride and groom could see the entire bay of Alicante! The Mediterranean Sea is always a good choice for a proposal in Alicante.
And it was with this panoramic view that the groom got down on one knee and took out the precious ring in one of the turrets of the castle, where the bride was able to show off her solitaire ring! Because without a doubt, yes, she said yes amidst laughter and excitement.
They kept kissing and hugging each other, and even ended up dancing, excitement and romanticism all around!
Then, after the “I do”, the engaged couple took more photos and video around the castle to create lots more memories.
The flowers, a gift from Cian to Alice
Cian, this groom so in love, wanted to give his bride a bouquet of the most romantic pink and white flowers! These flowers made up a dream bouquet that made the bride never forget her proposal in Alicante.
An impeccable organisation
Long live love and beautiful proposals! And the result could not be otherwise if the Wedding Planner in charge of organizing this proposal was Natalia Ortiz.
On Friday at 17:00 all the actors involved (the photographer, the videographer and the coordinator with her bouquet of flowers) were at their posts in the agreed place waiting for the couple so that everything would go flawlessly, and so it was.
Everything went off perfectly! They had such a great time at their proposal in Alicante, that they wrote to us that very afternoon to thank us for everything. And in two days we delivered their photos and seven days later their video.
At Perfect Venue we are always ready to organise your proposal in Alicante so that the scene of your life remains in your memory forever. We leave whatever we are doing to get on with your preparations!
