It is located in the former convent of the Bernardas del Santísimo Sacramento. The building with a baroque style was ordered to be built by the Duke of Uceda (son of the Duke of Lerma) and powerful minister of Philip III, who in 1616 had his first nuns from the Santa Ana monastery in Valladolid, who came to Madrid. After the Duke fell into disgrace, the church was left in a state of neglect, until the Archbishopric of Madrid ceded it to the 1st Military Region to become the seat of the Military Vicariate. Since that time the convent became the Military Cathedral of the Armed Forces.

This was built in 1624 as a complement to the Hospital de Portugueses, created by Philip III. After Portugal’s independence, the name of the church and hospital was changed to San Antonio de los Alemanes. It is an elliptical-shaped church, painted entirely, and the main theme is the life of San Antonio de Padua.
San Fermín de los Navarros
The Church San Fermín de Los Navarros is located in the central Madrid neighborhood of Chamberí and was declared a Monument of Cultural Interest in 1995. It has a neo-Mudejar style and was built in 1746. On the other hand, the interior is in the Gothic style, with a Latin cross plan and three naves. The stained-glass windows, in horseshoe arches, bear the coat of arms of Navarre.
Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro Parish Church

Collegiate Church of San Isidro
This was the provisional cathedral of Madrid until the inauguration of the Almudena Cathedral. During the Civil War, it was completely destroyed, although the remains of San Isidro were saved by being hidden behind a wall.
