The venue: An Old Convent
The location chosen for this wedding was El Antiguo Convento, a large estate with a great catering service for weddings and events in Madrid. For more than 20 years, it has been well known in the industry for organising and managing the most exclusive events in Madrid!
It was the perfect location for the bride and groom to walk around and dance in their wedding outfits, mesmerised by the gardens and the rooms, and where they decided to say “I do” outdoors, after the wedding preparations that had taken place inside!
High Quality, Sophisticated Decorations
For the wedding the couple chose extraordinary decorations, including decorative bronze and silver baubles which hung from the ivy. A very experienced team of professional decorators made this wedding exactly what the bride and groom had always dreamed of.
Flowers and plants were also present as decorations, such as Pampas herbs which decorated the whole venue, primarily the altar where they were placed on glass tables with golden lines.
Surrounding the herbs were flowers which matched the ones in the bride’s bouquet, all in shades of white. There were mainly white roses and a variety of leaves in the same shade.
The floral decorations were provided by El Atelier de las Flores, a florist that specialises in wedding decorations. They have hundreds of ready-made bouquets available, and are always successful in creating the perfect bouquet for the perfect moment!
Sofia, the Bride, Stunned Everyone with her Beauty
The dress Sofia wore was by Jesús Peiro, a brand dedicated to the contemporary bridal style which appreciates elegance and style and is always ahead of the trends.
The dress was from the CALA collection, a classic collection with a boutique concept. Sofia’s dress was 170, which is a dress and cape in fantasy tulle covered with glitter and caviar a poi.
Her makeup was a natural look by Make Up by Isle, a makeup specialist, who emphasised her eye makeup and used a slight nude colour for her lips.
As for her hairstyle, the professional stylist pinned her hair at the side and left the rest of her hair down with soft waves for a sophisticated look.
A Formal and Elegant Styled Groom
Mario appeared at the altar wearing a suit from Dress Bori Madrid, a brand that has a wide variety of collections of wedding dresses, groom and best man’s suits and party dresses for special occasions and different kinds of weddings.
The outfit consisted of an American jacket with shiny lapels and black trousers, shoes in the same colour, a white shirt and a shiny silver bow tie.
