Amaya and Eduard’s unusual wedding in a very intimate place in Asturias

Get to know the unusual wedding in Asturias, specifically in the city of Avilés, of Amaya and Eduard, look how well everything went!

How we like a wedding in Asturias! And even more so if the couple exudes passion and romance and have a charming personality and character.

This is why Amaya and Eduard were not looking for a traditional wedding, but instead they wanted to experience a day that they would always remember: a special and different wedding in an intimate place, with background music, soft lighting and glasses to toast.

These two young people who met whilst studying at university wanted to become man and wife in the city of Avilés and, used to living far from their families, they decided to get married/ intimately. Just the two of them and no one else.

Will you join us to take a look at this wedding without protocols or aspirations. Sure you will!

Let’s begin!

A sublime decoration of venues

Yume’s Garden: the ceremony venue

Located in the heart of Avilés, an Asturian city, this was a place that the bride and groom could not get out of their heads, surely because of its absolute haven of peace.

That is why it became their favourite corner to celebrate their most exotic wedding in the garden, a place that was filled with rustic elements such as: armchairs on which the bride and groom sat during the ceremony, tables full of books, candles and bottles, lanterns on the way to the altar and on it, a lectern in front of a wooden panel, centrepieces…

After finishing the ceremony and sprinkling themselves with rose petals, an original alternative to rice, the couple headed to the charming space of the celebration.

Meeting Point Avilés: the celebration venue

The bride and groom chose this meeting point to live an unforgettable experience on their wedding day. In this venue, located on the Calleja de Los Cuernos in Avilés, where the cows used to travel down to drink at La Cámara fountain, there is a good atmosphere, music, great cocktails and even better gastronomy.

When the newlyweds passed through its doors they were surprised by the decoration, since the place has stone walls, soft light, sofas, wood, floor lamps, trunks, skeletons, pianos, stools, etc.

A most illogical, rogue and surprising decoration that reminded the couple of the clandestine premises of the Prohibition.

The couple had the pleasure of tasting the catering by Yume Gastro, whose cake they will always remember. Made up of different layers and decorated with feathers and gold lettering, it formed a symphony of perfectly composed flavours, colours, smells and textures.

Amaya, a bride as daring as they come

Alicia Rueda was the designer who dressed the bride, who grew up among patterns and fabrics that her grandmother and mother made, and thanks to this and her Atelier, she makes the dreams of brides who seek a unique dress made with the highest demands come true, always with patterns modelled for each client, exquisite fabrics and handcrafted finishes that make each piece a jewel.

The dress in question was straight cut and plain white, with short lace sleeves, the same lace that was found on both sides of the waist and around all of her open back.

The headdress was by Eva Vidal Tocados y Complementos, a professional who is in charge of making them all by hand, creating unique and special pieces.

The bride, with her headdress, did not go unnoticed since it consisted of a crown of golden flowers that rose between white and pinkish feathers and maroon-coloured precious stones fell from the crown.

Regarding the bride’s makeup, it was done by Jana Tagarro, who painted her lips dark maroon and used brown eyeshadows for her eye makeup.

Marta and Tú’s hairdresser carried out a half-updo made of a central plait accompanied by a pink velvet bow.

With some luxury shoes from Miss García Shoes, specifically the Petit Negro Cork heeled sandals, the bride wore a combination of brown, gold and black colours with a floral print on her feet.

The bridal bouquet was made by Doña Cúrcuma, who added a touch of colour thanks to a few pink, maroon and fuchsia flowers, all of them accompanied by a great variety of green leaves.

Different but elegant, that’s what Eduard was like

With a Scalpers’ wardrobe, Eduard looked elegant and daring in a navy blue and black chequered blazer, a light blue shirt, a black tie with white motifs, braces and light brown trousers.

On his big day, he couldn’t be without a pair of his favourite shoes, brown brogues.

Photographs that live up to expectations

Eduard, as a good photographer, wanted the environment that was reflected in his photographs to be surprising, so the lights and shadows with which he was used to working with had a very important place on his big day.

Rosa Garrido, the professional who was in charge of shooting with the lens, achieved a result just like the couple had imagined.

Yes, everything went smoothly

And, if the conductor of the wedding was Patricia Vic, from Dreams of Princesses, nothing could go wrong. She is a professional who helped them with the design, decoration and organisation of their wedding.
