Characterized by a Roman elegance, surrounded by spaces full of stones, bright, broad and exuding history, Palacio Tondón is chosen by all types of couple since it provides all the facilities for their wedding.
Andrea and Kique enter the Palacio as a couple and left it as bride and groom, after having enjoyed a day full of charm and magic among pavilions, marquees and wineries, with an astonishing view on vineyards and mountains, and with the Ebro river flowing background.
A place which has been able to preserve its patrimony dating back to the XVI and that today allows any couple, along with their guests, to spend one day there.
Gastronomy at el Tondón, a real treat!
The couple had the opportunity to taste the traditional cuisine of La Rioja with its Cameros cheese, free-range eggs, Almadraba tuna cuts, lamb or prawns, with a menu that changes every day and depending on the season!
Not to mention the grilled razor shells, beef tripe, scallions with truffle or prawn tartare with caviar and yolk … Simply mouthwatering!
Of course, the spouses chose to carry out the banquet at the Tondón Restaurant for its variety of contrasting but still unique aromas and flavors. The additional value of an experience to enjoy through your palate.
A toast for the couple in the vineyards
In the cellar of the palace we find a winery hosting a wide variety of high-quality wines and giving the possibility to taste a really good a glass, and that’s where Noelia and Rubén went.
The couple made a toast right in this space as if they were at a Wine Bar, letting this festive atmosphere pervade all the rooms of the hotel, because you know, La Rioja is the land of wine! And not just one like many others, because here they have the best wines of the world.
Wine decoration
The palace, surrounded by vineyards, was full of decorations coming directly from the vineyards, with floral bouquets with vine leaves and clusters of grapes mixed with roses and astilbes, all garnet like the wine, from the company Flores para Venus.
To decorate the hotel on the big day of Andrea and Kique, for the main table they chose golden chairs, and for the crockery a low, gray sand plate accompanied by cutlery in rose gold and cups with striped carving.
On the tables of the Tondón couldn’t miss candles, golden buckets of fresh fruit and glass spheres.
Invitations to meet at the palace
The couple asked Día de Fiesta for the invitations of their guests, composed of kraft paper envelopes with black lining, their initials and floral sketches of the same color of the flowers, while the invitation was classic, all in white.
Style in line with the elegance of el Tondón
Andrea walked across the palace like a real Roman dame, with a dress full of crepes, gauze and lace, and with a V-neckline and crystal appliqué, like a golden chain which reminded of the decoration of that era. All by Novias Por Siempre Jamás.
The make-up artist Carla Salgado used a bronze eyeshadow and a tile red lipstick, while Zen Estilismo created a curly half-updo. Blending perfectly with the environment!
The groom stood out for his suit with black jacket, white shirt and a garnet tie with lapel pin.
All the pictures were taken by Noelia Jiménez, able to capture the shimmering nature of the location: the green vineyards turning orange, reddish and ochre.
