Probably ‘La Violeta del Teide’, I already composed this song thanks to my deep connection with nature and my passion for music. Its message tells us that even in adverse circumstances, beauty can flourish.
How did the idea of being a singer for weddings and events come about?
Since I started singing at weddings, I realized how music can transform a moment. The emotion of seeing the happy faces, of feeling the connection between the bride and groom and their loved ones through songs, inspired me to dedicate myself to this as a way of giving couples a unique memory.
What has been the most exciting moment you have experienced while singing at a wedding?
One of the most exciting moments as a singer for weddings and events was when I sang at a wedding where the groom wanted to enter with the Champions League anthem. It is a very demanding piece vocally, but it was incredible to see all the guests applauding when it finished. I felt like I was part of something really special.
What is it like to infiltrate as a guest or waitress to surprise everyone? Tell us about an epic moment!
It is an adrenaline-filled experience! I did indeed infiltrate as a waitress to surprise the bride and groom and the guests. Suddenly, I started singing and everyone was speechless! They took out their phones and immortalized the surprise by singing and dancing together.
If you could relive a wedding or event where you have sung, which would you choose and why?
Without a doubt, a marriage proposal that I sang in an inhospitable place with a stunning sunset. The song ‘I’m going to love you’ was playing while the engaged couple shared that intimate moment, and everything seemed magically synchronized.
What is the song that never fails to thrill even the toughest person at the event?
The song that never fails is one that has a special meaning for the couple. It can be a melody that reminds them of their first meeting, their first dance, or some unique moment they shared. Those songs go beyond the notes and that’s what really connects.
What is the funniest reaction you’ve seen when you showed up dressed as a Disney princess?
The funniest reaction was when the kids started talking to me as if I really was a Disney princess. They asked me about my adventures, what my life was like in the castle, and if I had magical animals that helped me. Their innocence and excitement were so genuine that I couldn’t help but feel like I was part of a fairy tale.
You have the superpower of singing in several languages, which has been the most difficult to master?
As a singer for weddings and events who is fluent in different languages, I have to say that Russian has been an interesting challenge. Its pronunciation and musicality of the language can be complex, but in the end the beauty of the music transcends any language barrier.
How do you choose the repertoire for each couple? Any secret trick to know which song will make them cry (from happiness, of course)?
Each couple has a unique story, so I like to talk to them and get to know their tastes and special moments. Listening to their stories helps me find the perfect song that speaks of their love. My ‘trick’ is to tune into the emotions of the moment and let the music envelop us.
If you could do a duet with any artist in the world, living or not, who would it be and what song would they sing?
Without a doubt, Alicia Keys. I deeply admire her, not only for her incredible talent, but also for her values in giving voice to women. If I could do a duet with her, I would choose to sing ‘Girl on Fire’. It’s a song that reflects the strength and determination of women, something I feel very identified with. It would be an honor to share the stage with such an inspiring artist.
If you were given the opportunity to sing at any famous wedding, which one would you choose and which song would you dedicate?
If I had the opportunity to sing at a famous wedding, I would choose Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding. Their relationship has always been so genuine and full of affection, and it is one of the most endearing love stories in Hollywood.
I would choose to sing ‘All of Me’ by John Legend, a song that expresses a deep, unconditional and pure love, something that perfectly reflects what a wedding should represent: a commitment full of emotion and dedication.
What is the best and most challenging thing about being the soundtrack to unforgettable moments?
The best thing is knowing that my music can accompany and elevate such an important moment in people’s lives. The most challenging thing is the responsibility of making that dream wedding come true and making everything fit together perfectly.
If you had to describe your job in one word, what would it be and why?
Transformation. My job is a bridge between emotions and memories. Music has the power to transform any moment, and that is the magic I am passionate about sharing.
