What’s the craziest request you’ve ever received from a couple?
One of the most special was to recreate an authentic Venetian Carnival at their wedding. We designed a complete experience with period costumes inspired by 18th-century Venice, handcrafted masks, capes, headdresses, and themed accessories for the guests as well. We transformed the space into an elegant and theatrical stage where everyone was part of the show. It was a meticulously crafted, sophisticated, and absolutely magical production.
Do you prefer to entertain children, adults, or both?
We love it when generations mingle. A fun wedding is one where grandma, friends, and even the little ones dance. We adapt the energy to the different parts of the event: we can liven up the family spaces during the cocktail hour, and when the party gets going, we switch to a much more energetic format geared towards adults.
What kind of entertainment is a must at a truly fun wedding?
A well-produced “crazy hour.” With eye-catching costumes, professional performers who know how to read the dance floor, and a strategically building energy. It’s not just about handing out props, but about creating an epic moment that marks a turning point in the celebration.

How do you decide which activities are perfect for each type of wedding?
We listen carefully to the couple. We analyze the guest profile, the style of the wedding, the venue, and the type of celebration they want. An intimate wedding at a rustic estate is not the same as an elegant wedding at a city hotel. We design each entertainment package as if it were a custom-made suit.
What has been the most memorable moment you’ve experienced at an event? One of the most touching moments was when a bride told us we’d gotten her father, who never danced, onto the dance floor smiling and enjoying himself. For us, those kinds of moments mean everything. We don’t just provide entertainment; we create memories.
Have you ever had to improvise on the fly? How did you handle it?
Fortunately, very rarely. At Mambó, we work with meticulous planning and always consider different scenarios before each event. We anticipate potential technical, weather, or timing issues, and we have a plan B—and in many cases even a plan C—prepared so that everything flows smoothly.
That doesn’t mean we can’t improvise; on the contrary, when it’s been necessary, we’ve handled it with the utmost care, discretion, and professionalism. Our goal is for the bride and groom to enjoy themselves without worrying about a thing. And the greatest satisfaction is when, after the event, they tell us that everything was perfect without us having noticed any internal adjustments. That sense of calm we convey is part of our signature style.
What kind of music usually works best to get the dance floor going?
A combination of reggaeton classics, hits from the 2000s, instantly recognizable Spanish pop, and powerful Latin rhythms works really well. The key is to blend generations and play songs that everyone recognizes within the first few seconds.
What’s your “ace in the hole” when you see the party slowing down?
We always have a surprise set up. It could be the unexpected entrance of performers, a change in the lighting, or a strategic musical shift that reignites the dance floor. Experience allows us to recognize the exact moment to give it that boost.

What do you think makes wedding entertainment truly unforgettable?
That it’s well-balanced. It shouldn’t be intrusive or forced. Unforgettable entertainment flows with the celebration and enhances the natural energy of the event. It should feel integrated, elegant, and consistent with the couple’s story.
Have you ever encountered couples who are undecided? How do you help them come up with ideas?
It’s very common. Our role is to organize their thoughts and translate what they feel into a clear proposal. We show them visual options, explain dynamics, and advise them according to their budget and style. We give them peace of mind and direction.
What’s the one accessory or item that’s always in your entertainers’ kit?
Besides energy and attitude, we always carry an emergency technical and creative kit. Planning ahead is part of our professionalism.
What trends in wedding entertainment in Spain do you see growing?
There’s a growing demand for more personalized and visually stunning experiences. Complete theming, performers with a polished aesthetic, and formats inspired by festivals or premium clubs. The show is more carefully crafted than ever before in terms of aesthetics.

Do you think the entertainment style changes depending on the region (north, south, coast, etc.)?
Yes, the atmosphere definitely plays a role. In the south, participation is usually immediate and very expressive. In the north, the beginning might be more relaxed, but once the dance floor gets going, the energy is at its peak. In coastal areas, the style tends to be more festive and laid-back.
What message would you give to couples who are unsure about hiring wedding entertainment in Spain?
A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event. The reception is the moment when all the pent-up emotions are released. Professional entertainment makes all the difference between a beautiful celebration and an unforgettable one.
