Sarah Linow, the couple’s wedding planner, discovered this hidden gem, which offered the couple’s ceremony with the sound of crashing waves, a private location for their seafood feast, and stunning views of the island. They mixed tropical foliage, succulents, and grasses from Flores Mallorca in a way we’ve never seen before, along with a combination of seashells and pearls, an elegant colour scheme of gold, powder blue, and pink. We are smitten with how flawlessly Light Meets Love caught each and every second of this romantic elopement!

‘Nick surprised me with a handwritten love card and my favourite sweets during the trip the morning of our wedding. It was the ideal way to begin what would end up being the ideal day! However, if I had to choose just one highlight, the ceremony would be it. It was absolutely magical to have just the two of us and our wedding speaker, Michaela, listening to our love story, hearing the waves in the distance, and saying yes to each other and a lifetime together.’
‘One of my favourite European bridal designers, Ritual Unions from Berlin, has a very unique aesthetic. I adore tiaras and headpieces. When photographer Melanie introduced me to Kokoro’s collection, it was love at first sight. The pearls are perfect for an oceanside wedding. I chose to wear the stunning real pearl jewellery designed by Yana Nesper once I had established the pearl theme. I adore the undertones, which are echoed in the table settings. I’m sure I’ll wear these gorgeous pieces on many more occasions!’
‘Nick and I have had incredibly hectic lives since we first met. We are around a 6-hour travel apart in terms of our home cities. Because of this, we never had enough time to truly celebrate our love or plan the wedding of our dreams. But we were aware that, in the end, we wished for something incredibly private and singular. We wanted to steer clear of anything that appeared or felt conventional because we had witnessed a lot of weddings and elopements. We believed that fusing the unbridled power of the water with tasteful and subtle accents was the perfect mix for our special day! We had never witnessed anything quite like it.’
Michaela Amler, a German wedding officiant living in Mallorca, presided over the private and emotional ceremony there on the pier. The moving moment of exchanging rings occurred at the conclusion of the ceremony, which began with our lovely love story. Celebrating our love while staring out at the ocean was great.
We placed a special emphasis on the wedding images because they will serve as a constant reminder of our wonderful day. Because of this, she picked one of Germany’s top photography and videography professionals, who could not only capture the day in beautiful pictures but also offer insightful commentary on all things visually appealing. The husband-and-wife picture and video team Light Meets Love’s wedding photographer Melanie was utterly enamoured with the idea of this nautical wedding and offered plenty of advice for us. She had suggestions for the dress, the bridal accessories, and nautical wedding decor up her sleeve as a professional and experienced wedding photographer. She also collaborated with Sarah, the wedding planner, who selected the ideal settings for the ceremony, an outside supper, and the afters.
‘Because the elopement was by the sea, we were then inspired to choose blue and green. the florals were perfectly chosen for the surrounding landscape, as they included succulents, grasses, and tropical leaves by Flores Mallorca. My bridal attire, the venue, and the decorations all had a beautiful nautical feel thanks to the seashells, pearls, and trendy colour scheme.’
