Oh, how we love destination weddings! And even more so if the chosen destination is Spain, the country that Toni and Amanda chose to celebrate their destination wedding in Villaluisa on the first of September 2018.
These girls travelled to the Andalucian capital from Berlin, Amanda’s hometown, thus exchanging the cold and greys of the German capital for the colours and heat that Andalucia gives.
With such tasty gastronomy, the sun shining all the time, such friendly people and the aromas that its streets give off, who would not want to get married in Seville?
We will not make you wait any longer! We will now tell you about this love story that, we warn you, will leave you speechless.
The chosen space, a palace house
The 5,700 m2 of the Villaluisa garden were chosen to carry out the course of this wedding, from the ceremony, to the banquet and to the subsequent party.
This 1929 palace house, located in the heart of Seville, has dreamy gardens and lots of spaces and lounges of different sizes, decorated in a neo-Mudejar style.
The beautiful Arabic-style temple and the magnificent Crystal Hall made an incomparable setting for these brides to celebrate their wedding in a romantic way with their guests.
Villaluisa was the place they had always dreamed of!
A classic and romantic decoration
Siloh Floral Artistry, a professional who specialises in the floral design of weddings and destination events, achieved a natural, intriguing and evolving design through the use of colour and movement, which was certainly enough to fulfil Toni and Amanda’s dream.
The bouquet consisted of salmon-coloured peonies and white peonies, as well as small flowers accompanied by green leaves.
The ceremony space, the Villaluisa gardens, was filled with wooden chairs with white cushioned seats with lots of flowers along the entire aisle. White armchairs and a very charming glass tables were arranged at the altar.
Graciela amor al plato, is the name of an Argentine professional in charge of painting exclusive tableware by hand for weddings, always putting all her feelings in each creation. The tableware was placed on imperial wooden tables without tablecloths, accompanied by gold cutlery, black plates , green crystal glasses, floral centrepieces and candles in salmon and flower white tones.
Graciela’s tableware was filled with culinary excellence by Catering Dani Garcia, a chef who takes his kitchen anywhere in the world, so Villaluisa was not going to be any different.
Outfits which they managed to make dazzle
They both changed between glasses of champagne, which made it much more fun to slip into one of the Immaclé dresses, a company that has a love for detail and for the thousand-year-old heritage of haute couture and vintage flair.
One of the dresses consisted of a baby neckline, full of lace. It was transparent and lacey on the upper part while the lower part was completely smooth.
The other dress consisted of two overlays: a transparent dress as a short-sleeved shirt full of floral embroidery, whereas the top was placed over another plain strap dress.
The makeup and hairstyles were the work of Oui Novias, who managed to highlight the natural beauty of both brides, who looked impeccable and comfortable with the most natural makeup, the so-called “washed face effect”.
The headdresses, made by María, from Marucca, were two unique and handmade pieces obtained with great care. Both were jewel headdresses with floral details.
As for footwear, one of the brides opted for Jimmy Choo sandals, the Emsy model, with a slim stiletto heel and crossed bow straps, while the other bride opted for comfortable espadrilles.
And we cannot forget the style of the pages! Both dressed in nude tones and carrying their esparto baskets.
The magic of lighting was not lacking
Thanks to Kokko Eventos, who specialise in creating environments for dream events, we were able to achieve a very warm, romantic and welcoming atmosphere by placing a lot of hanging lamps with geometric shapes on the tables.
A photographer of amazing quality!
Silvia Sánchez was in charge of photographing these brides, achieving a most natural and spontaneous result that told a beautiful love story through photos.
A film by Ay video was also made so that this special day could be remembered. Alberto and Yago, with their four eyes on alert, were not left without recordings of the live music that was heard throughout the event or the guests dancing in their dancing shoes.
Yes, that’s right! The brides added the generous detail of putting several espadrilles at the disposal of the guests so that they could change and continue dancing for many more hours.
Wedding Planners who are experts in destination weddings
The girls from Weddings with love, a Sevillian company formed by Ana, Cristina, Lidia and Patricia, were in charge of organising this wedding from a distance.
